I don't know how people would stamp without this! It has never smudged any of my stamping. Try it without. Lol. You'll want to cry when your crisp stamps turn into a messy blur with one tiny swipe. The formula is exactly as described: thinner and not made to be a shiny, smooth shell. It's a top coat that seals your hard work and does it's job perfectly! The only issue I had was adding a thicker top coat over it, but that was my fault. I chose my regular favorite insta-dry (always my go to with kids and pets in my house), and used it after an hour of the smudge- free drying. Too soon. I didn't factor in that the formula is be more alcohol-heavy and it ate the smudge-free and ruined the stamping. If I let the smudge-free dry overnight, I can top it with zero issue.Katherine E.
Good: didn't smudge! Yay! Negative: tries feeling tacky, when I put a traditional topcoat on top of it, it had a vinyl-like finish that "flexes" rather than a glassy finish, and feels thick and dents and nicks. I didn't like them at all at first. My daughter actually figured out how to do it. When I did get the gist, I noticed the mess and stress it causes me. I like the idea, if the process actually worked and looked like the stamps, then it was okay. But if the image didn't transfer over, it looked weird. The top coat is rough if it isn't put on correctly and then didn't last much more than a few days before it began to wear away. I really adore this Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Too Coat in "Unicorn". Right in the bottle is a mix of beautiful fine shimmer in different colors to give a "unicorn" effect, which looks incredible in the sun, and if I had to describe a unicorn, it would be sparkly, magical and colorful! I used this top coat over Sally Hansen Miracle Gel in "Sugar Fix" and it worked perfectly to add a gorgeous suble shimmer of colors that made me want to constantly look at my nails in different directions to capture the shimmer and color. Unfortunately, the camera cannot the capture the true beauty and sparkle of this unicorn top coat like your eye can in real life. This top cat would go great with any and all colors to give your color a little sparkle and flair. Lasted all week and removal was easy as well. I definitely would recommend it.
I got this product complimentary from Influenster and sally hansen in exchange for my honest review. I got the color sugar fix and the topcoat color of Crystal. The colors were definitely pretty so that was a nice plus. As you can see in the pics, the second pic shows each color with one coat. It is very sheer so definitely you need two coats for it to completely cover your nails. The third pic shows each nail with two coats which covered nicely. The pointer nail has the sugarvfix with the Crystal topcoat on top and it is very pretty with a nice sparkle. It dries pretty quickly too which is another plus. What I did not like about these is that the polish scrapes off your nail pretty easily so there was not a long period of staying power. Also, the wand of the brush is like a flat piece of glass with the bristles at the end. I personally did not like this and found it difficult to get the wand in and out of the bottle. I much prefer round wands which go in and out of the bottle much easier. The polish and the topcoat were also not super shiny like other polishes. I found them both to be a little matte, than super shiny. I prefer more shiny and glossy. Just my preference though. The polish did come off easy with nail polish remover which was nice. This base is a light blue/periwinkle type color. It is thicker consistency so it doesn't chip as much as acrylic or regular paint. the color is bold and beautiful! This polish lasted so long on my nails doing my daily work and tasks and didn't chip! It is much thicker lacquer due to it being gel and chip resistant. It went beautifully with the top coat Crystal to make it holo! Base coat was two top coat three with five min dry time in between 10/10lindsey.h

This item isn’t perfect but it’s really good if you’re looking for a clean product. This top coat works best with a thin layer of polish. Wait at least 10 minutes for the first layer to dry. (I know it completely defeats the purpose, but continue reading.) Apply the top quick dry coat slowly and in a big glob (that’s how it’ll come out anyway). While I don’t find that it dries quicker than normal, I do find that it works great for longer lasting nail polish. I still have a lot of product left, but unfortunately the polish is now very thick and peels off instantly. I like some of Ella+Mila’s other products, but this particular one is giving me trouble, and I keep trying it and getting the same result. There are pros and cons. Pros: I like that it is free of seventeen harmful chemicals, including formaldehyde and formaldehyde resin. It’s also cruelty free. The product dries very quickly, which is great. The little bottle is super cute and I love their elephant branding. It’s also made in the USA which is nice because that’s where I’m from and it’s harder these days to find products actually made here. Cons: It’s supposed to be chip resistant, but they don’t mention peel resistant. Everytime I use this within seconds after drying it starts to peel up in little spots. It looks like glue all over the nail polish, and it actually causes the nail polish to peel up, even really good brands that usually stay on even without a base or top coat. It’s clear and nice in the bottle and lasts ages longer than OPI top coats, but it goes on cloudy. It’s just really not very usable, which is disappointing because of all the pros. But when it comes down to the main function it just doesn’t work so I have to give it 2 stars.

I was hesitant to buy this because I didn't think it could be THAT much different than the other top coats i had tried. I have a sally hansen, 60 second dry, and a ORLY topcoat already but NONE of them compare to this.This topcoat is thick, which makes it pretty easy to apply to be honest because its more obvious where you're put it. And as long as you paint the cap or edge of your nails you will notice how much longer it lasts. I'm talking 5 days to a week with no chips, dents, dings or bubbles – depending on how hard you are on your hands and nails. i'd say I'm pretty rough on mine and still get 5 days of perfection. I'm have been doing my own mani’s and pedi’s and I like for them to look as professionally done as possible. So I opted for a gel like top coat. At the same time, I had purchased an OPI one and this Seche one. After comparing, this Seche top coat was by far so much BETTER! I have used it with several brands of polishes, regular and gel. I actually like the Seche Vive a bit better than the Seche Vite. It is thicker, which I like, but truthfully you probably only get to use half the bottle because it becomes very viscous and hard when you get down to the bottom. i cant say enough good things about opi. i use so many of their products. this product is a 3 in 1. it works as a base coat, a top coat, and a strengthening formula. it’s clear, but it looks so good on the nail. it’s strengthens my nails really well. and it’s easy to apply other coats to it if you want. or stickers. would definitely recommend!jennifer.f
If I don't use this my nail polish always smudges and won't dry. I always apply a base coat then 2 coats of colour followed by this OPI RapiDry Top Coat. It dries everything in less than 1 minute and then I can go about my day. I still make sure that I wear open toed shoes the day I paint my toenails as I'm paranoid of it smudging but it really does dry it rapidly. It also makes my nail polish colour look really shiny and prevents the edges from chipping. If you are looking for something that really does dry rapidly then I would recommend this to you.

It is so thick and goopy…I've tried 3 bottles recently, in hopes it was a bad batch or something…and all were junky! It ruins your painted nails, smudged, streaked and bubbles. Even if you use A TON of product, and get lucky enough for it to dry…there are still going to be tiny bubbles. Also, it literally doesn't dry through with a base + 2 color coats. I've been using seche viet and out the door top coats exclusively for over 10 years. I never tried anything else because those did the job of being really shiny and drying fast. The problem I had was that they would dry up really quickly and were almost too thick and sometimes would shrink the polish under neath or streak. I noticed with this top coat that it's shiny but it isn't overly thick. It glides right over polish and smoothed out an imperfection without being super thick. I didn't notice any shrinking either. Also, the brush applicator is great it's a bit wider and fluffier than the average top coat brush. I really like this top coat and Im glad I took a chance, I haven't been a super fan of essie polishes in the past but I do enjoy this.Nessa
This is the only top coat I can trust to not chip on my nails. I have purchased about 3 times. I do my own mani/pedis- might get them done professionally 1-2 times per year. This gel system lasts just as long as when my nail lady uses her polishes. If I need the color to last for vacations, I use this gel system. I’m really hard on my hands, and this doesn’t chip. My pedicure will last till I remove the color (3-4 weeks). I do take care to prep the nail bed, making sure there is not oily residue. The shine from the top coat is awesome, evens out the polish nicely and really resists chipping. I would say it takes 8-10 mins to dry over the Essie gel polishes.Yessie
This top coat is pretty good! It was very easy apply, and went on very smooth. I had no issues applying it. It did take 5-10 minutes to fully dry. Within the first couple of days I was noticing that the polish under the top coat started the break apart but the top coat was still doing well. By day 3 I was starting to see some small chips on some of my nails, but one nail I had tried a different kind of gel polish from Essie (the blue/grey nail) and that one didn't have any chips yet. It is day 4 now of wearing the polishes, the blue/grey polish on my left hand (my non dominant hand) has a small chip at the side, but my right is still doing well. It seems like the polish underneath determines how well the top coat does and lasts. Some last, some don't. It's a pretty good top coat though!louise.c

As the title says, it's a nail polish. I haven't noticed anything particularly spectacular about this particular polish over others with similar claims. It hasn't made my manicures last longer or kept my nails from chipping any more than other all-in-one or base coat/top coat in one polishes. Pros wise, it's a nice viscosity, which makes it go on easily without much mess. If you load the brush properly prior to applying to to your nail, you should be able to get a nice even coat without much hassle (which I can't say for all products in the same category). And while this may not mean much to some, I appreciate Essie's bottle design because it makes storage much easier. While other brands more aesthetic designs may look nice, unless you have dedicated shelving unit or other display for your polishes, storing them can be difficult and take up far more space than necessary. All in all, in my opinion this product isn't something to write home about, but I wouldn't phone it in either. I would definitely choose this over several of it's competitors with similar claims and price points simply for the above mentioned pros of easy of application and storage.Siriuslestrange1
I am a huge fan of Essie's nail products and also recommend this new All-in-One Base and Top Coat as well now. I have brittle nails that easily get stained and require a basecoat and top coat as well as a nail strengthener whenever I use nail polish. Essie's All-in-One Base/Top Coat is basically the one-stop product that I use due to convenience since it works as both a base and top coat. I do have to mention that this product has a quick expiration date and the formula and texture changes over time. It becomes thicker, less spreadable, and a bit less efficient when it becomes old. It works best when it's fresh, so it works especially well for those who consistently use nail polish in quick succession and not for those who might use it over a long duration of time. Overall, I am quite satisfied with it, but as I'm one of those lazy people who only use nail polish sporadically, a bottle of these usually lasts me quite a long time and ends up with some wasted.RDCn
I bought this in hopes it would give a better shine to the pink essie polish and base coat I already had. I've used the pink alone with two coats and 30 min dry time between coats with zero problems. It typically stayed for 3/4 days before wearing off so I thought the top coat would help it stay longer. I applied the polish exactly as before and waited a full hour after the second coat of color to apply the top coat. I touch tested the color and made sure it was fully dry before applying top coat. I applied top coat on one hand. After an hour, it still wasn't dry and when I tested it, everything was wet and the all the polish came off as if the color layer was fully wet. I draped a paper towel on the nail and all the polish stuck to the paper and came off the nail. The other hand, without top coat, was still fine a day later. I've tried again on one nail waiting for the color coats to dry overnight before applying the top coat and same effect. It's as if the top coat re-wets the color polish and just never dries. Top coat works as a polish remover. Very disappointed with the top coat of SAME brand would interact this way with polish.GoingSallyHnsn

I've used Revlon Nail Enamel more years than I care to admit. this has always been my "go to" polish, in shade Serene (320) for work and :play:, Once in a while I'd lighten the shade up i the summer, but always back to the favorite. No, apparently it's been discontinued and what's left around is way too expensive to even think about buying. The biggest thing I love about this polish is it didn't destroy my nails. After taking the polish off, my nails weren't dry, brittle, chipping and didn't break as much when kept polished. Tried the gel nails once, took me months to get my nails re-grown, needless to say, I went right back to a lite shade of the enamel, then back to Serene. Won't make that mistake again. Question is, what shade will work as well as that, have Totally Toffee, but it's a bit darker and I absolutely don't do pinks or weird color. Am a porcelain skinned strawberry blonde with green eyes and reds/pinks look horrible on me. Any color with a gray overtone makes my nails look like they are dead. So, unless I can talk Revlon into bringing back that particular color, anyone have any ideas on shades along that line?Gigi
I really love this polish. Beautiful colors. I really like 276 Vivacious. The color really lasts. I get 2 weeks of non chip wear. I use a base coat. This polish. 2 coats. Then I go over it with a coat of Revlons Gel Envy. It hold up extremely well. I am really pleased with this polish.Neil

I really think this stuff helps prevent chipping. I have been wearing a regular Essie polish with this Sally Hansen as a top and base coat and am going on 7 days with no chipping. I did wrap the tips with polish and top coat and still experienced shrinking at the tip of the nail which i'm not thrilled about, but no chipping at all! I also did prep my nails and wiping them with rubbing alcohol to aide with the polish sticking and I think it helped! I have used many top coats, most around the $10-12 mark and this one this is my favorite. I have been using this bottle for about 4 months and the consistency has not changed at all. Sometimes to keep them extra shiny, I put on another layer of top coat a few days in, but I did not in the scenario above and am still very happy with the results!amanda.s
This stuff is amazing! I can't believe this doesn't have a 100% rating. I was surprised to see that people said that the OPI Natural Nail Strengthener peeled off soon after they applied it. I have not had that problem at all. It dries very quickly, which makes it easier to add more coats. This has helped my long nails stay strong and healthy looking. I would be devastated when my long nails broke, but now they don't break, thanks to this polish from OPI! This is my holy grail nail product. I used this last night for the first time. I had done a design that I was really proud of, but when I put on the topcoat, it immediately smeared the design, even though the polish underneath had had plenty of time to dry. I went to bed an hour later, assuming it would be fine since this bills itself as a quick drying top coat. I woke up with sheet imprints and one nail with the polish pushed and crumpled so there was a large bare patch. I’m very disappointed in the product – maybe it’s just a bad batch, but it performed as if I’d not even bothered. Even hours later, the promised “super-hard finish” has not developed. If you want a quick-drying topcoat that has a hard finish that preserves designs, get something else.
I was really excited to try this top coat. I have quite a collection of them and am always looking to see what’s new. I was not overly impressed with this top coat. It looked flawless at first but the following day is when I started noticing trouble when the tips of my nails were already losing their color underneath and starting to show signs of wear. I know this is bound to happen but I take very god care of my nails and always wear gloves when washing dishes or using hot water for cleaning. Besides that, I thought it was a lovely polish that was super shiny. I also was unimpressed with how long my nails took to dry afterwards. It definitely wasn’t the quickest. This was my first Orly product to ever try and it definitely did not disappoint me. I had seen this brand at target but I didnt want to buy it and not like it so I just always stuck with Sally Hanson. Even though I dont necessarily like Sally's products I tend to buy and go with what i know instead of venturing out, I pain that on being a cancer. Last year my nails were in bad shape and I finally took the risk, not because i was brave but because the products I usually got were stole out of. This made my nails hard and felt good. It never yellowed or chipped and this bottle lasted me months which is rare because the one I bought of Sally's never made it a month before it was so goopy I couldn't apply it anymore. I really adore this Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Too Coat in "Unicorn". Right in the bottle is a mix of beautiful fine shimmer in different colors to give a "unicorn" effect, which looks incredible in the sun, and if I had to describe a unicorn, it would be sparkly, magical and colorful! I used this top coat over Sally Hansen Miracle Gel in "Sugar Fix" and it worked perfectly to add a gorgeous suble shimmer of colors that made me want to constantly look at my nails in different directions to capture the shimmer and color. Unfortunately, the camera cannot the capture the true beauty and sparkle of this unicorn top coat like your eye can in real life. This top cat would go great with any and all colors to give your color a little sparkle and flair. Lasted all week and removal was easy as well. I definitely would recommend it.
I got this product complimentary from Influenster and sally hansen in exchange for my honest review. I got the color sugar fix and the topcoat color of Crystal. The colors were definitely pretty so that was a nice plus. As you can see in the pics, the second pic shows each color with one coat. It is very sheer so definitely you need two coats for it to completely cover your nails. The third pic shows each nail with two coats which covered nicely. The pointer nail has the sugarvfix with the Crystal topcoat on top and it is very pretty with a nice sparkle. It dries pretty quickly too which is another plus. What I did not like about these is that the polish scrapes off your nail pretty easily so there was not a long period of staying power. Also, the wand of the brush is like a flat piece of glass with the bristles at the end. I personally did not like this and found it difficult to get the wand in and out of the bottle. I much prefer round wands which go in and out of the bottle much easier. The polish and the topcoat were also not super shiny like other polishes. I found them both to be a little matte, than super shiny. I prefer more shiny and glossy. Just my preference though. The polish did come off easy with nail polish remover which was nice. This base is a light blue/periwinkle type color. It is thicker consistency so it doesn't chip as much as acrylic or regular paint. the color is bold and beautiful! This polish lasted so long on my nails doing my daily work and tasks and didn't chip! It is much thicker lacquer due to it being gel and chip resistant. It went beautifully with the top coat Crystal to make it holo! Base coat was two top coat three with five min dry time in between 10/10lindsey.h

This top coat will be the best you’ve ever used if you use it correctly. The first few times I tried it I was very disappointed with it. Hours after painting my nails, I was still getting smudges and nicks in the polish. It looked as though it was getting smudged and cloudy, and there was no shine. Then, I tried letting my coats dry A LOT longer then I usually would, and I dried them with a mini fan. After THAT, I had a shiny manicure that lasted over a week with little to no chipping. So- if you have the time to let your coats dry quite a long time, and/or an instrument to dry them (fan) then you will have great results!sd
Love this from OPI! OPI has recently become my new fave brand when it comes to nails. The finishing base coat and top coat work emmensly and has the quickest drying time I’ve ever experienced! They’ve knocked all my other nail products out the park! I was super pleased with my application process. So many nail salons use the brand OPI and it has been featured in Hollywood movies! I have been using this top coat on my nails for years and I love it because it leaves my nail polish so shiny. It's quite thick so you don't need much on the brush and I would recommend you do wipe the brush up the side of the bottle to remove some before you go in and apply it over your nail polish colour. Sometimes the brush does turn the same colour as the nail polish I'm applying it to but that doesn't effect the top coat at all. It also protects the edges of my nails from chipping too. The only thing that I don't particularly like is that it does take longer to dry that other brands I've used so that's why I'm giving it 4 stars.

I have a love hate relationship with this top coat. On one hand, I love the way it makes my nails look, and it gives the perfect finish. On the other hand, it lasts maybe two days, tops. It cracks and peels so quickly, and I don’t even work with my hands much. If you live in a perfect environment where your nails never chip, this is for you. This is a great white polish. I bought gel thinking it would be a good way to grow my nails, still have fun with nail art and be able to play with some holo dust. I absolutely love this gel polish. I bought a cheap 36w led lamp on amazon and just using the base, color and top coat from this line is superb. Just shiny, white is almost one coat opaque white. I was thrilled to find this product. When I finally got around to trying it, I had a difficult time opening the bottle and when I did get the top unscrewed the bottle was broken. I'm unsure if the product leaked into the cap when it was manufactured or what happened. Since it was outside of the 30 day return policy I've had to keep it upright, and in a safe place so it doesn't tip over. The brush was also all matted, so when I do use the product I use a different brush I have. Occasionally when I paint this product on I'll get a thick hardened piece of the product on my nail so have to wipe it off. The product when it does go on nice and is set with the UV light is great. I am assuming I got a bad bottle.
The top coat works really well and is one of the many products I use to make press on nails ( I am NailedByRachel on IG).
