It has been over 15 years since I had a human hair wig. I tried one previously and it was I’ll fitting and looked very unnatural. This wig, however, fits comfortably (it’s honestly still slightly larger than what I’d love and I just mention that in case anyone is nervous hearing that it is more on the petite side. The fibers tangle too easily. I can't do anything without this wig tangling and matting in a weird way. It's embarrassing to me and now I have to replace it after only 2 months of wear. I've tried conditioners in hopes of coating the fibers and reducing friction, but it doesn't last even a whole day. I have been impressed with the construction of the cap. Considering I have to brush the wig out many times throughout the day, I'm surprised that the crown hasn't thinned badly. Many wigs come already too thin in the crown, but not this one. The Chocolate Mix color is nice. Other wig brands use fibers (heat friendly and otherwise) that can be smoothed every day or two with a straightener on low heat. First of all, I was apprehensive about the cap. I have a 20” circumference, and I heard that Ellen Wille runs small. She fits perfectly, that being said, she’s the most comfortable wig I’ve ever owned. The Mini lace front does not itch at all, and the mono part is the most natural looking thing I’ve ever seen. The curl pattern is to die for. I got her in Bernstein Rooted and the color is so natural looking. I’ve had her about a month, have washed her once. I have a Girl Mono in color Light Bernstein Rooted. Totally in love, it's a very curly piece. You can create a lot of texture if you spritz the hair with water and then some conditioning spray, scrunch the hair and let it dry without touching it until it's really fully air-dried. I never comb this one, to keep the curls nice, but I can imagine she can easily be tamed down. I styled her a little different from the model, by pulling the bangs forward. A versatile style. I think this wig is a nice short wig suitable for girls and women of all ages. She's just cute! I have a 22.5" head, a long face and a long neck. Most wig reviewers have very petite heads/faces I noticed, so on me, she is a lot shorter than on most people I've seen on the internet, but really super cute. So even if you're not a petit headed person, I say: give this one a try!Laura
So I mainly got this wig as an alternate to my Ellen Wille Elite in Sand mix. My bio hair is naturally wavy, but sometimes I would straighten it, and I had kept it about this length bob as well. I was hoping Girl Mono could be the wavy sister to the straight Elite and I could alternate between the two without screaming "hey, I'm wearing different wigs", and they would be similar to how I would wear my bio hair, alternating between natural and straightened. I will say the cut of this wig is growing on me. Out of the box it looked a bit awkward on, but brushing out the waves and making the bangs lay better I think helped me. I like the cap construction, and it is very light, exactly what I would expect from Ellen Wille. I am disappointed in the color a bit, which is why I give this only 4 stars. I really wish they had more color options for this style. I ordered Sandy Blonde Rooted, and I knew from the description it would have a visible root, but I don't like how dark it actually is. I like the cool blonde, and it is comparable to Sand mix, I just don't like the roots being so dark. Also from the description I think champagne rooted roots are just as dark, and I didn't want a warm blonde like caramel rooted, so I guess I'm stuck with this color choice. I'm keeping the wig, and I will wear it, I'm just not fully thrilled with the color, but there really isn't much of a choice.Brittany

I love this wig. I got it in Light Champagne Rooted. It is an almost white color with a hint of blonde and rooted. The root is supposed to be medium brown but looks a little dark. I have light brown hair so I am comparing it to that. It is my first rooted color so I am trying to get used to this. But I love it! Like they say it gives dimension to the light color. I really wanted to love this wig. It's cute, it's sassy, it's easy to throw on and leave the house without a lot of fussing. However, I don't know if it's the wig or my head (I'm new to wigs, having just lost my hair to chemotherapy, so I don't have a lot of experience in the way that different brands or designs might tend to fit), but it just slides up on me constantly. I have an average sized head, on the smaller end of average, no strange shape or anything, and I'm currently bald, with some fuzz, so no large amounts of hair to try to push under the wig. I started out with the size adjustments a bit on the small side, and it slid up. So I adjusted them bigger. Same thing. I put it as big as I could get it and it still poofs up on top of my head and I look like a crazy conehead. I''ve tried it without a cap underneath and using a variety of caps. Nothing helps. Obviously I can't go out in public without anxiety with this wig – I worry constantly that it's sliding and I'll have to tug it down. So, I will need to send it back and try another brand. I have to admit, it took me a long time to finally cave and buy this wig. I wasn't sure if it would be too short, and I couldn't find a lot of reviews of this style or the blonde color options on YouTube. I'm also wary of Ellen Wille blonde colors since no two ever seem to be the same between the different styles. First, I love the cut. I think it is cute and very flattering. The quality is exactly what I expect out of Ellen Wille as well. The fibers on the wig I received were perfect, and I didn't see any issues like some of the other reviewers. Sure, the hair around the face needs to be trained a bit, but honestly this hair is much better than my ever forward falling hair on the Ellen Wille Elite style. I'm very happy with the cut, style, and quality. I ordered this in color Sandy Blonde Rooted. This is night and day different than Girl Mono in Sandy Blonde Rooted. The roots aren't too dark or pronounced, and there is nice light almost reddish brown pieces mixed with the lighter blonde highlights. I took these pictures with the wig straight out of the box and no styling but a shake and some finger smoothing. I don't know if giving this piece a one star rating will give this subject the attention it deserves: Lace wigs are designed to wear close to the head without a wig liner. The LEAST we should expect from a monofilament wig is that the base net NOT feel like sandpaper! Children's wigs are much more considerate – their netting is soft – but I can't get adult colors and styles from the limited children's selection. I love this style but I can't wear it because it's so uncomfortable. It's too late for me to return it so it will probably go in the trash.HRHTish
I got the Casino More in Sandy Blonde rooted. I have two other Ellen Wille wigs and love them. I've had about 20 wigs over the years and I can't stand "thick" wigs – they look too fake and not believable. People don't do a double take when they see me in these wigs because they barely notice – they just think I have re-styled my hair. I get comments that they love my new hairstyle and want to know my hairdresser's name. I can spot a wig almost every time and the so-called gorgeous wigs with tons of hair are ridiculous looking to me. I love the thinness of the top on this wig – makes it look real. I love this wig. It is such a GOOD style/cut! Very on trend I would say. Tried on with several outfits today looks great with pretty much everything. Clavicle length, very flattering. Love the Cherry color. A couple downsides: is it does fall in your face a lot. I haven’t tried to gently heat the fibers so they don’t fall forward so much, and I haven’t put hair spray in yet. But that may help. Also the ends of the fibers at the front of the wig have that dry tangly feeling —must be the heat friendly fibers. This is a big, voluminous curly wig. I like it because it reminds me of the "big" hair that was fashionable in the '80's when I was growing up. I took a chance on the Light honey rooted blonde colour as I normally wouldn't wear pale blonde. I was pleasantly surprised that the colour looks good on me. It's fun and comfortable to wear. The curls are well defined and don't require a lot of tweaking. If they get a bit frizzy I just spritz them with water or wig conditioner.Patti

I loved those 'Big Barrel Curls' that, 'Lady J.' was styled in but I have no idea of how to get those kind of curls back. As far as colors love bernstein rooted. Love color! Honey R is a very light blond. To light for me. FYI to keep the bangs out of my eyes I just catch them loosely under my glasses. I kept this wig as advice from another review saying that it dose calm down after some time. As they said it's huge and wild when you first put it on. Iam adventurous and like variety so I will wear this occasionally. I pat the sides down so they aren't so wild. It has calmed down some in the short time I've had it. I have ordered several wigs, being new to the process and the product. The "Fame" wig by Ellen Wille is very nice. Lightweight, wearable all day, and the hair texture is very good for synthetic hair. The bangs needed a bit of adjustment, they don't look like the photo. The online video demo is more representative. But, perhaps with a bit of hair cream they could. This wig reminds me of a longer version of "Joy". Happy with both.

For this price I expected much better quality. Jon Renau wigs have been much nicer and less expensive. ALSO I put my $97. Credit towards this wig and they did not honor it. This wig, however, fits comfortably (it’s honestly still slightly larger than what I’d love and I just mention that in case anyone is nervous hearing that it is more on the petite side. I wish it were more petite!). I do, however, love the amount of hair in Cascade. It’s thickness looks very natural. The fibers tangle too easily. I can't do anything without this wig tangling and matting in a weird way. It's embarrassing to me and now I have to replace it after only 2 months of wear. I've tried conditioners in hopes of coating the fibers and reducing friction, but it doesn't last even a whole day. I have been impressed with the construction of the cap. Considering I have to brush the wig out many times throughout the day, I'm surprised that the crown hasn't thinned badly. Many wigs come already too thin in the crown, but not this one. The Chocolate Mix color is nice. Other wig brands use fibers (heat friendly and otherwise) that can be smoothed every day or two with a straightener on low heat. I purchased this in dark chocolate mix and starting wearing it recently and don't see too much highlights, granted i haven't washed it yet, for some reason that makes a difference sometimes in the fiber. I have amina in the same color and although a rich brown you can see all of the highlights, this has more of a inky look, I can wear easily as my eyes are very dark and my coloring is okay with it. I tried a couple other wigs and they had too much hair for my small face and head. I saw this brand new style and it looked so cute and a lot shorter, and I so hoped it would fit my head and face. When I received it I took it out of the box and I immediately saw that the amount of hair was way less than other wigs I'd tried (Beach Mono and Violet). I tried it on and it wouldn't cover my side hairline. I thought I could work with the curls, which were wavy and soft, but the more I looked at myself, the more I realized that the wig cap just was not large enough. I even went to the internet and looked at ways to make a cap larger, and then kicked myself and said, "she just doesn't deserve all that cutting and most likely ruining!" I would suggest that you go by the true petite sizing if you want to try her. Also, ordered this in Bernstein Rooted which I must add is more blonde than brown. I wasn't prepared to go to such a drastic color change. Since the color swatch shows mostly light brown, the amount of blonde was a surpose. Sadly I had to return her. Your staff was so helpful. My biggest problem with ordering wigs is choosing colors that don’t look anything like the samples. Really?? I ordered Hot Mocca Rooted with light auburn blend and there is nothing auburn about it. I needed to return the Flair Mono wig because the lace front had a lot of dark knots and there was hair poking up at the top of the wig. Very disappointing because I liked the style of the wig but did not keep it because I did not believe I should have to accept that low quality for the price I was paying for the wig.

I have extremely thin hair and wanted to try a wig just for something to throw on for days when I wanted to go somewhere and not have to fuss with my hair. I ordered the Mocca Mix and it was so close to my normal color it was perfect, it was still a but to much hair for me on the top but I think once I wash it and adjust it a bit and maybe just have it thinned a bit it will be perfect! I also love that you can part it on either side. My husband even thought it looked great and was actually the one who talked me in to keeping it because I was on the fence at first. The petite/average was perfect for me as I ordered a different wig that had way too much hair and was an average and was way to big even adjusting that I had to send back, I did have to pay shipping to send back but the company is upfront about that, I have not received my refund yet but they just got it back a couple days ago so as of now I would have no hesitation of ordering from this company and shipping was great! If anything changes with my return I will be sure to update this as I left all the tags and everything on the wig as required and tried it on with a wig cap and knew right away I did not like it on me.Dev
Bernstein mix is what’s pictured. But I also have mocca mix and chocolate mix. But it’s the perfect amount of hair usually there is always a ton too much in everything that I have to thin everything out but for me I started with an average amount of VERY fine hair. It is a beautiful wig, but the lace with the silicone is falling apart. It is coming unglued.
The human hair was beautiful. As for color, it could have used a few bright highlights around the face. It may have brightened up with styling to expose the existing highlights. The cap construction and lace front were excellent. The cap size was tight, which forced me to return it. Otherwise, it would have been an easy to wear, very realistic piece.
