It has been over 15 years since I had a human hair wig. I tried one previously and it was I’ll fitting and looked very unnatural. This wig, however, fits comfortably (it’s honestly still slightly larger than what I’d love and I just mention that in case anyone is nervous hearing that it is more on the petite side. I wish it were more petite!). I do, however, love the amount of hair in Cascade. It’s thickness looks very natural. I’m currently in the process of having a Freedom Wig created and an thrilled to have this beautiful hair while I wait for it!Ariel H.
The fibers tangle too easily. I can't do anything without this wig tangling and matting in a weird way. It's embarrassing to me and now I have to replace it after only 2 months of wear. I've tried conditioners in hopes of coating the fibers and reducing friction, but it doesn't last even a whole day. I have been impressed with the construction of the cap. Considering I have to brush the wig out many times throughout the day, I'm surprised that the crown hasn't thinned badly. Many wigs come already too thin in the crown, but not this one. The Chocolate Mix color is nice. Other wig brands use fibers (heat friendly and otherwise) that can be smoothed every day or two with a straightener on low heat. Frizziness is not the issue with this wig. It just can't handle friction.Carrie E.
I'm a big fan of Elite, which will always be my favorite EW style. The cut on this one is great and similiar to elite but with more face framing layers in the front which very modern. The hair so silky and such a natural looking density. I'm having a hard time though with the colors. Not sure if they changed the colors but cannot find hot chocolate mix my go to for elite and few other older styles, in the newer styles. Also, the same color in different collections look somewhat different. I purchased this in dark chocolate mix and starting wearing it recently and don't see too much highlights, granted i haven't washed it yet, for some reason that makes a difference sometimes in the fiber. I have amina in the same color and although a rich brown you can see all of the highlights, this has more of a inky look, I can wear easily as my eyes are very dark and my coloring is okay with it. I definitely love this style, and will someday down the road when i can get a good deal try the chocolate shaded. This wig is a bit out of my budget so cannot buy full price at the moment.Jen G.

I love this wig. It is such a GOOD style/cut! Very on trend I would say. Tried on with several outfits today looks great with pretty much everything. Clavicle length, very flattering. Love the Cherry color. A couple downsides: is it does fall in your face a lot. I haven’t tried to gently heat the fibers so they don’t fall forward so much, and I haven’t put hair spray in yet. I have ordered several wigs, being new to the process and the product. The "Fame" wig by Ellen Wille is very nice. Lightweight, wearable all day, and the hair texture is very good for synthetic hair. The bangs needed a bit of adjustment, they don't look like the photo. The online video demo is more representative. But, perhaps with a bit of hair cream they could. This wig reminds me of a longer version of "Joy". Happy with both.

I tried a couple other wigs and they had too much hair for my small face and head. I saw this brand new style and it looked so cute and a lot shorter, and I so hoped it would fit my head and face. When I received it I took it out of the box and I immediately saw that the amount of hair was way less than other wigs I'd tried (Beach Mono and Violet). I tried it on and it wouldn't cover my side hairline. I thought I could work with the curls, which were wavy and soft, but the more I looked at myself, the more I realized that the wig cap just was not large enough. I even went to the internet and looked at ways to make a cap larger, and then kicked myself and said, "she just doesn't deserve all that cutting and most likely ruining!" I would suggest that you go by the true petite sizing if you want to try her. Also, ordered this in Bernstein Rooted which I must add is more blonde than brown. I wasn't prepared to go to such a drastic color change. Since the color swatch shows mostly light brown, the amount of blonde was a surpose. Sadly I had to return her. Your staff was so helpful. My biggest problem with ordering wigs is choosing colors that don’t look anything like the samples. Really?? I ordered Hot Mocca Rooted with light auburn blend and there is nothing auburn about it. I needed to return the Flair Mono wig because the lace front had a lot of dark knots and there was hair poking up at the top of the wig. I have a small head and the Petite fits comfortably. It looks cute but is not quite right for my face. It has a very tousled look if I shake it and wear it. As others have said, the bangs do not fall flush against the forehead. I use some gel to flatten them. Four stars because of the bangs. Not an edgy look but still OK. It reminds me of how Meg Ryan wore her hair years ago. It is a very nice wig and well made. If it were more flattering on my face it would be great. I’m thinking of steaming the bangs in place. I love this short, stylish look. It's youthful and flattering and the cap is very light and comfortable. The fibers are very natural and the color Espresso Mixed is a gorgeous, natural dark brown. Wearing daily I get about 3 months wear out of it. It's not always perfect straight out the box but it only take a couple of wears and gentle teasing for it to fall into place and look more natural. I've found that to be true for many wigs. You shouldn't always be discouraged with how it looks straight out of the box.
This wig totally surprised me. I love it. It is lightweight and might be the most comfortable wig I have. This wig is beautiful. Well constructed. I trimmed/shortened the bang and widened the part line and find it to be very realistic. I get compliments on it. I bought it in Champagne Rooted. It's close fitting so it doesn't feel like some of those wigs where they are all poofed up, big hair. The only thing that I don't like about it, is the top shape does not fit my head shape so there is a little empty space in the top of it. I guess they shaped it on a rounder type head than I have. It's still one of my favorites.
I ordered this wig in carmel mix (same color as my FIRST wig). The color is nothing like my FIRST wig. The style is very cute; however, this wig is approximately two shades darker than my carmel mix FIRST wig. Additionally, from half way down the back, the color completely changes to a medium brown with no hi-lites. When I purchased Joy, the only pictures posted were of the model dressed in white. After writing my previous comment shown below, I noticed new pictures of the wig with a model dressed in black. Interestingly enough, the long fringe in the back was cut off for these newer photos, which makes the actual wig, in my opinion, look more flattering. I'm hooked on Ellen Wille's Hair Society collection. I got Joy in chocolate mix, my favorite color. The fibers are soft and totally lifelike. The density is natural. It required no thinning at all. The hand tied cap gives such natural movement to the fibers, and the lace front gives such a realistic hairline that no one could possibly guess it's a wig. The petite/average caps fit me perfectly. The style is lovely; it's not overly hi fashion, but not mundane average. Instead I find her Hair Society line to be classics with an updated twist. Let me start out by saying I love Ellen Wille wigs in general. I wanted to try something different so I thought I'd give Java a try. I ordered her in Tabacco rooted, I give the shade a 2 (per my own personal taste) The style really didn't look good on me not bad but just not "Me". I am a true petite and I did like the fit. so deciding it was not for me I started the return and was told on the website that it was not returnable! I wish I had been told that from the start I wouldn't have takin the chance on it so now I am stuck! I guess I can take her to my stylist and see what she can do for me but I will think twice before I try something like this again.Chris
The wig color is gorgeous. The size was a little loose (average size) even tightened with the adjustable tabs. The wig fiber is stiff. It doesn't flow like natural hair. I was very disappointed with the way this wig fit. It seemed like there was too much cap in the back. I have a petite head and not all wig makers make this size of wig. I have loved Ellen Wille wigs but this wig is not the quality that I have experienced with her brand. To spend this much money on a wig that is not produced with good quality control in place makes me think twice about buying in the future because there is definitely a issue with this line of wigs.
Well.. it’s lovely hair, but not my favorite. I wish there had been a lighter blonde available when I ordered. And for sure, human hair doesn’t have the body and staying power of synthetic. It lays great, though, and you can run your fingers through it, just like your own. I appreciate the site’s objective description. Pluses & minuses.
This wig was very pretty and soft. I returned it because of the way the hair layed on top and it could not be changed. I wanted the top and front to lay more like the girl in the photo but it couldn’t be done. It all was going forward if you understand what I’m saying. I was impressed by the quality so, I’ve ordered a “topper”.

This wig, however, fits comfortably (it’s honestly still slightly larger than what I’d love and I just mention that in case anyone is nervous hearing that it is more on the petite side. I ordered this in the Salt Pepper Mix. I really like the color. I some what like the style. It is too long and looks like you really need a trim at the nap of your neck. The quality problem is the same problem I have seen with three Ellen Wille wigs I ordered. There are little short hairs sticking up all over the back of the crown area or in the case of Cara 100 Deluxe wig the short straight hairs were sticking out all over the top. Another complaint, is that the picture here on the website is very inaccurate. In the red haired picture, that wig has been cut in the back. Wigs should not be altered in pictures for advertising a wig. I like that Ellen Wille wigs do not have excessive permatease and the cap being an petite/average fits me better than average sizes. But these quality issues are costing me a lot of money when you have to return the wig. Unfortunately, I don't have a wig store near me where I could try on wigs.
I ordered this wig in two colors, hoping that it was a bit more wavy to curly style with natural density on top. I was kinda hoping for the love child between Ellen Wille Arrow and Girl Mono. I was going on stock pictures and youtube reviews, but in reality it has a very choppy, strongly layered cut, and no real waves or curls. I had to brush these wigs with a regular "forbidden" kind of hairbrush instead of a wide tooth comb, to make the hair come together, instead of each lock of hair being super pieced out, doing their own thing. It also has a bit of permatease on one side of the part, and that kind of increased in volume during the day that I've worn her. For my head and face shape (large), permatease isn't a good idea. So… for me personally it's not a winner. However, if you need that extra bit of volume on top, you will LOVE this! If you like choppy layers and playfulness, but not really want to go for full curls or beach waves, this is a yes! Quality of hair is amazing and the cap is super comfortable. Lace front on Ellen Wille is one of the best in the industry in my opinion.Lea S.
Wish I had bought this piece first. Wore it right out of box. Professionally cut, realistic density and very fine denier. Hairline is undetectable. With hand tying too, It’s the most natural piece I have. Mine is champagne mix, it is close in shade to RW shaded biscuit, Henry Margu 10/613GR, and maybe JR’s Palm Springs Blond? Ellen Wille’s shade is a nice blend for most any med to ash blonde or for someone whose blonde is beginning to gray. No gold really. Not shiny. Very nice length. I still have a lot of hair length and that is the only challenge with me wearing this one since it is designed to fit with very little to no hair. I am making it work tucking my hair flat under wig cap. My bio hair has thinned to point that I need more hair to look normal again. I’m a petite/med? I have extremely thin hair and wanted to try a wig just for something to throw on for days when I wanted to go somewhere and not have to fuss with my hair. I ordered the Mocca Mix and it was so close to my normal color it was perfect, it was still a but to much hair for me on the top but I think once I wash it and adjust it a bit and maybe just have it thinned a bit it will be perfect! I also love that you can part it on either side. My husband even thought it looked great and was actually the one who talked me in to keeping it because I was on the fence at first. The petite/average was perfect for me as I ordered a different wig that had way too much hair and was an average and was way to big even adjusting that I had to send back, I did have to pay shipping to send back but the company is upfront about that, I have not received my refund yet but they just got it back a couple days ago so as of now I would have no hesitation of ordering from this company and shipping was great! Bernstein mix is what’s pictured. But I also have mocca mix and chocolate mix. But it’s the perfect amount of hair usually there is always a ton too much in everything that I have to thin everything out but for me I started with an average amount of VERY fine hair.
