This was my first wig, and I now own 4 of this style! I have my own hair. It is naturally curly and I can no longer style it because of health reasons. THIS is the style I've always wanted/worked for in my blowouts followed by curling iron! I first bought it in a monochrome color (hazelnut) and didn't think it was as naturally looking as I would have liked. I then got three rooted (hazelnut and honeyed toast x 2) and absolutely loved them! Have received many compliments. I'm not positive this size is the best for me (I was remote teaching so little risk) but may size up as I "go live". I also saw slight differences in how each of my four ladies were styled! I like this wig. I am returning it, but I like it. I got this in color GL14-22SS which is supposed to be a sandy blond with darker roots. As you can see from the pictures there really is no difference between the roots and the hair, and it is all really light colored for me. I will be getting a new one in a darker color like GL16-27SS. My other mild complaint is that for some reason the ear area fits a little weird on me, though I have a petite head. It's like the ears are slightly too high, and even when I loosened the elastic it didn't help much. Very minor, which is why I'm willing to try this is a different color.Brittany
Soft & Subtle in GL 6-30 was my first foray into beachy waves, and I love her! There's a little bit of permatease at the top, but not much, so she doesn't seem too "wiggy" for me. I wish that the curls were a bit more structured – I wouldn't necessarily wear her for a special occasion – but she's great for an unfussy, casual look. She comes across as very natural, as if I'd just stepped out of the shower and I had wavy hair that just dried that way, so I feel comfortable wearing her for day-to-day activities. I have a 21.75-inch circumference, and the petite-average fits well with just a little extra room at the crown; an average-large would definitely have been too large for me. I wore everyday for a couple of weeks when I first got it. Then, one day opened the oven door after pre-heating to 425 degrees and fried the front of the wig. I know better than to do this, but it just slipped my mind. I immediately ordered a replacement. It arrived in about 4 days and I have been enjoying ever since. No more cooking for me!! I ordered the wig in the color of my hair and also have the hair stocking about the same color. The hair is thin and the wefting might show thru if you are trying a color that isn't a close match. Otherwise, it is my new favorite!!
Have been wearing this wig for at least 8 yrs…and have tried many other styles, but this I’s my favorite and I keep returning. Have ordered MANY of this particular wig, and will continue. Am concerned though, that the colors are being clearanced….and hope this doesn’t mean that the style is on it’s way out. Then I had purchased 2 more when I was concerned the others were wearing out. I thought they were horrible. Not as much hair on one side, colour was not what I had gotten before though the same number and I was planning on returning them but felt the shipping to return plus the shipping and duty I had already paid was not worth it so decided to donate to a women's group. Later I took another chance after complaining to this site and once again they were definitely not up to the standard of the original wigs. It seems to me the quality control was very poor and that because I didn't like them found myself wearing the old ones though they were showing their age. I needed shampoo and conditioner so thought I'd try one final time. Well these were better than the last four that were terrible but still not anywhere near the same standard as the originals. I can't believe that it's the same company creating them as the hair is so much faker than the originals I would love to purchase the ones I had bought the first while but while these I will have to wear when the old ones are simply worn out but will be searching for another site that possibly has this wig

I like this wig however sometimes the cap is too small. The two I bought last month fit perfectly. One of the wigs I bought last year shouldn't have passed the quality control inspector if you have one. The hair separated at the crown. I ordered this style in the color Kahula…It is a light/medium brown with blonde highlights. I had a hard time getting a picture that really captured the shape but it is pretty close to the model. The curls look really natural…like you have naturally curly hair and the style is a fun combination between tame and wild (if that makes sense!) I work a very physically demanding job, so I wanted something that was cute but would not tangle or require me to mess with it during my shift. I did wear this out tonight for girls night out with my best friend…I can always count on her to tell me the truth about the basics – does it look natural, is it flattering, and most important, does it look "wiggy"…this one passed with flying colors! The other thing I like was the price…I typically only buy mono-top wigs because they look so natural, but with the curls, it isn't noticeable at all and it keeps the price down. I can definitely see myself buying this in another color!

This is a really lovely wig with a gorgeous curl pattern. Love the TOB lace fronts, and this does not disappoint. However it has a lot of permatease and was quite 'poofy' straight out of the box, but after the first wash it mostly relaxed and now looks more natural. This is the sort of style that would flatter most face shapes I think. The cap is slightly big on my petite-average head, but still fairly secure and very comfortable. For reference, my circumference is 21.5 inches and 13 inches both ear-to-ear and front-to-back. I think it would be a perfect fit for a true average head size. The colour Hot-Cocoa is a nice neutral brown with no red tones. The colour swatch is a good representation of it. If you don't mind the pillowy permatease and lack of monofilament, I recommend Isla as a fun and sassy everyday wig.S. G.
This is the most expensive wig I've ever purchased and I have learned that you really do get what you pay for. The fine hair texture feels lovely and moves beautifully. The lace front is the most natural-looking one I've ever seen but I did trim a few thin, wispy, bangs for complete confidence. The color Rooted Blonde is perfect for me. As with all blonde shades, there was a little too much sheen for my taste but it was easily dulled with a spritz of dry shampoo and a light dusting of powder. I have Alopecia and have worn wigs for about 1 1/2 yrs. The Paradox has been my mainstay wig. I love the texture density of the wig and lacefront/mono. I have gotten at least 6 over this time I have my stylist shorten the back and front a bit. The last one I got was color 811+ a little darker for winter. It was a yummy warm color. I was disappointed to find this wig to have about 1/4 to 1/3 less amt. of hair and the density of the fibers also seemed lighter making the wig lie flat with less body and not was able to style as well. Hoping they are not changing this wig as sometimes they do. Maybe just an odd ball one but have only done exchanges and not returns. ?? so just kept it but not as happy for sure and not an inexpensive wig. Anyone else have this experience with the wig now?Denice
I have purchased hair from Vogue before and found their customer service to be stellar. Their representatives are knowledgeable, kind, polite and Very helpful . So my issue regarding the wig has to do with the manufacturer, not Vogue. I have a medical condition that causes me to have to wear my hair. I have purchased many Paradox wigs over the years as it is my go to wig. The amount of hair in the wig has become so little now that it lays flat on the sides of the face and the back having No body making it look like a bad hair day. I do read reviewers writing the same message about the changes in the wigs, lower quality, amount of hair being used so I know it is prevalant . Unfortunately, the consumer has little control. All the companies would have to put pressure on the manufacturers in some way. Perhaps Vogue, being an excellent company could lead the way with this issue?Deneice H.
After literally years of searching for that perfect wig (that would not actually look like a wig), I found Paradox by Gabor. I can honestly say this is the best wig I have ever bought…and I've bought many. With the lace front and part, no one can tell this is a wig. Even my own family has remarked how good it looks, and my closest friends say they can't even tell. It was a bit shiny when taken out of the box, but a healthy dose of powder took care of that. Since the color I got was not rooted, I promptly took care of that by turning the wig inside out and spraying the inside with L'Or�al spray root touch up in brown. That way it looks like you have brown roots even when the wind comes up. Then I used brown touch up powder on the part to further root it a bit. As my final touch, I took tweezers and pulled one hair at a time from the "part" to give it even a more realistic look. The results were fantastic…. I don't feel at all self conscious about going out and having anyone think it's not my own hair. So happy with this fantastic, beautiful wig!!!

It's very natural looking & can be combed in different styles with or without a part. I have received many compliments and actually asked who cuts my hair. The quality of the hair is lovely. Other wigs that I have tried have a frizzy look where the hair particles are extremely dry no matter how much moisturizer you apply. I've tried to change my style to one a bit longer to cover the top of ear better to no avail. This might be the only criticism I have. I'm considering trying a large size which might do the trick. I have a petite head and this Aspire petite fits me well. It is slightly curly and just the right amount of hair. I have a square shaped face and this is a good style for me because I need a little height. I don't have to trim it at all. I bought the 305C and I love the white at the front. It goes to light gray towards the back and looks very natural. I want to try the 101plus but I haven't seen this color and I don't know how blond it is. I like ashy blondes also.Voncille C.

I know better than to do this, but it just slipped my mind. I immediately ordered a replacement. It arrived in about 4 days and I have been enjoying ever since. No more cooking for me!! I ordered the wig in the color of my hair and also have the hair stocking about the same color. The hair is thin and the wefting might show thru if you are trying a color that isn't a close match. Otherwise, it is my new favorite!!
Have been wearing this wig for at least 8 yrs…and have tried many other styles, but this I’s my favorite and I keep returning. Have ordered MANY of this particular wig, and will continue. Am concerned though, that the colors are being clearanced….and hope this doesn’t mean that the style is on it’s way out. I needed shampoo and conditioner so thought I'd try one final time. Well these were better than the last four that were terrible but still not anywhere near the same standard as the originals. I can't believe that it's the same company creating them as the hair is so much faker than the originals I would love to purchase the ones I had bought the first while but while these I will have to wear when the old ones are simply worn out but will be searching for another site that possibly has this wig

The wig has significant permatease, but I can very easily smooth her down somewhat using just my fingers – I imagine I could get her even flatter with a good styling creme. Alternatively, if you want to spike her up, she'll go pretty high with a good shake and some teasing. I also appreciate that the bangs aren't super-long and I don't need to trim them. Although I've never tried Raquel Welch's "Winner," Serving Style seems similar to the basic (non-Elite) version of that wig, with the addition of a lace front for off-the-face styling versatility. I purchased this wig in the honey pecan. I’m a natural dark brunette plus size 23 inch head and this average fit me just fine. The cap is comfortable, natural, soft, and has a nice stretch. Rooting and highlighting is very natural spot on. To keep it out of my eyes, I just use a little clip which makes it look even cuter to put it back. This is a great wig if you want hair to stay out of your face in the summer when it’s hot or while you are busy doing things. I haven’t tried the sweet talk luxury but this one feels so nice I wouldn’t even be inclined to try unless it’s just for fun. Perfect color if you’re a brunette and you want to start going lighter and have it look natural. Will put a review on YouTube under “it’s a wonderful wig” since I love this so much. I purchased this wig and love it. The one I have is cut into more of an A-line bob that is very flattering to my shape of face.
