Ok, I am a petite/average with 21" circumference. This was a tad small and constantly slid even with a good wig grip band. The cap is longer in the nape so if you need an extended nape, this should be good for you. A few warnings though: This frizzes and tangles easily on the ends. Like within 5-10 minutes of wearing. My biggest problem was while wearing it, I opened the oven to take out a roast (350F) and the front completely FRIED instantly. I didn't put my head in the oven or really even get that close. My wig is ruined. Seriously singed beyond hope. I cannot fathom how or why this did that when I hadn't even gotten that close to the heat. I opened the oven and I always let that initial blast of heat out before getting close (hello sweaty face and mascara problems if you don't!). I did use a small amount of Jon Renau spray to hold the bangs a little up so maybe it was that? Still, no spray should singe the fibers like that…I mean, not unless you got super close to a heat source like an open flame. 3 ft away should NOT do this. My first wig and it's ruined beyond hope. All that money gone to waste. So, DO NOT expose this wig to anything. Do NOT make dinner with it on. Even bright sunshine would likely ruin it. I especially will never use Jon Renau spray ever again! I decided not to replace it but chose a different wig. It really isn't that soft or silky to begin with and with my experience considered, the quality is just, meh. I do feel like the manufacturer should send me a replacement or Jon Renau. It should not have singed at all under the circumstances. Learn from my experience and when cooking for holidays, wear a scarf, a hat or go bald. Just don't wear your wig in the kitchen or to the beach.Bethany K.

This wig is awful! I wanted a wig that looks like natural hair and on that point, the wig wins. Sadly, there are no other wins for it. The lace is extremely poor quality because there is no way to camouflage it. I used powder, I used concealer, I used my liquid foundation but nothing works. I wore the wig and was very embarrassed because you could see the lace at the center of my hairline. No amount of products used would hide it. Also, the hair gets puffy! The couple of times I wore it, by the end of the day, it was 'big'. I put product in it a couple of times to calm it down, but that did not seem to help. This purchase was an epic fail!! The wig I got came with a huge bald spot in the front. When I tried to return it for an exchange, I was told it wasn’t in new/unused condition. The only thing I did was take the wig out of the box and I still had the two cardboard pieces that cane in the box all of which I shipped back. This is the WORST service I have ever received from an online store. It obvious that customers actually being able to use the product that they payed $40 of their money for isn’t a concern to this company. I am a really good customer of Paula Young Hair pieces and wigs. I have about 7 of your wigs, and I enjoy the styles. Sadly, I can't afford the ones that are supposed to be cooler. Diana was the one I returned of the two I most recently purchased. Diana was not flattering to me because the hair on top was so very long…difficult to keep from looking or laying FLAT. However, even though Alex was also a longer length, the top was shorter, so I was able to style it quite easily and have it 'stay put" a little better. But I wish really wish someone would tell me how to keep P. Y. wigs from riding up the back of my head. I've even tried to purchase wigs that are a larger size, thinking my problem might be …a big head! But the large ones are just baggy on top and still ride up, making me feel very insecure, itchy, and as if I'm going to loose the wig any second. This doesn't happen until about the 3rd or 4th hour I've had it on. …But let's face it… wig wearers usually do wear them ALL DAY! I've bought those little clips with the wavy edges, but…come on guys, couldn't you include some instructions as to how they're to be used? Do you sew them on the inside of the wig…or slide them somehow…and if so, how do you manipulate by 'feel' so that nothing shows?How does one know how they even work? You need to realize your customers aren't maybe as smart as you and need some guidance in using the accessories you sell to make our wig wearing more comfortable and secure. I'd really like to know where or how to find this information…I visited all over your website, and as far as I can tell…NADA! Don't get me wrong…obviously, I've found a lot to like about your wigs, since, as mentioned, I own 7 of them and purchased full volume clip ons every 4 to 5 months for 13 years before Covid caused me to loose my hair completely. If you wear wigs daily like I do, Diana is a good a quality, reasonable-priced wig. The larger velvet area in the top front (where I have the least hair) means I don't always have to wear a cap or a band underneath to be comfortable. For me, the extended neck is great because it keeps the back of the wig from "riding up." As for the hair itself, it's very soft and really versatile. You can shake and finger-comb it to have more obvious waves or brush it out for a softer look. And it looks just as good behind the ears as over them. I just trimmed the bangs a bit, and it was ready to wear. I plan to buy this again in different shades, so I hope Paula Young keeps offering it!Lisa
