After I wash the wig I sprayed the wig not reading the directions before hand that a little goes a long way, since I sprayed too much and had to rewash it because it was too oily. I've used this product for several years, and like it a lot. The wig shop where I bought my wig recommended it to me, and I purchased my first bottle with the wig. Since then, I've had no reason to switch brands. It seems like a small bottle (8oz), but you only use a small amount in a sink full of water so a bottle lasts a long time. (I probably average 6 months per bottle, but your mileage will vary with the length of your wig, and how often you shampoo it). My wig is synthetic BTW.
