It has been over 15 years since I had a human hair wig. I tried one previously and it was I’ll fitting and looked very unnatural. Considering I have to brush the wig out many times throughout the day, I'm surprised that the crown hasn't thinned badly. Many wigs come already too thin in the crown, but not this one. The Chocolate Mix color is nice. Other wig brands use fibers (heat friendly and otherwise) that can be smoothed every day or two with a straightener on low heat. While I ordered both these wigs thinking they were short and medium density hair, I was disappointed on both counts! Risk was a total failure and Tab was like a rooster costume with a mound of hair on top that looked ridiculous! I looked at the men's wigs trying to get a really short hair wig but they don't come in blond hair. So far, it's been a total disappointment, not to speak of the nearly $60 they charged me for returning a wig (Tab) what was in my hands and head less than 15 minutes! After having tried several other wigs, I chose the Tab in the Salt/Pepper Rooted style. I loved the fact that it didn't have too much hair which makes it look more natural on me. I love the color on me. I love the style and the flexibility I have with the Lace Front . What I don't love is that it's just a smidgen too small, I feel. Even though my head measures for a Petite, I guess I prefer an Average size fit as one of my other wigs, in a Raquel Welch style is much more comfortable for me to wear. I also find this Lace Front to be a bit scratchy. This would be the perfect wig and style for me IF the fit were better and the Lace Front a little softer. I have extremely thin hair and wanted to try a wig just for something to throw on for days when I wanted to go somewhere and not have to fuss with my hair. I ordered the Mocca Mix and it was so close to my normal color it was perfect, it was still a but to much hair for me on the top but I think once I wash it and adjust it a bit and maybe just have it thinned a bit it will be perfect! I also love that you can part it on either side. My husband even thought it looked great and was actually the one who talked me in to keeping it because I was on the fence at first. The petite/average was perfect for me as I ordered a different wig that had way too much hair and was an average and was way to big even adjusting that I had to send back, I did have to pay shipping to send back but the company is upfront about that, I have not received my refund yet but they just got it back a couple days ago so as of now I would have no hesitation of ordering from this company and shipping was great! If anything changes with my return I will be sure to update this as I left all the tags and everything on the wig as required and tried it on with a wig cap and knew right away I did not like it on me.Dev
Bernstein mix is what’s pictured. But I also have mocca mix and chocolate mix. But it’s the perfect amount of hair usually there is always a ton too much in everything that I have to thin everything out but for me I started with an average amount of VERY fine hair. I have the tag and have not worn the wig but still they will not accept it so I can purchase another one. I am out $200. and very unhappymary s.
The delivery of my order was timely and in good condition however the wig itself is not the same as the one I already have. The top is shorter and spikier it’s almost like someone must have cut it. I am keeping it however I really have to work it and spray unlike my first one that I can wear straight out of the boxDianne E.

I’m honestly really torn on this one. I’ll wait a few days, try it on again, reassess and make my final decision. I’m bringing this up because other people on the web want the scoop on this. The issue has been raised, so if I can save someone who is very particular about this type of thing, that’s important. I will say, I did not buy more than one, and I only have this one color to report on, so I cannot tell you if each wig in this style will have the track issue, and I don’t know if it is less noticeable in some colors than in others. It has been over 15 years since I had a human hair wig. I tried one previously and it was I’ll fitting and looked very unnatural. Considering I have to brush the wig out many times throughout the day, I'm surprised that the crown hasn't thinned badly. Many wigs come already too thin in the crown, but not this one. The Chocolate Mix color is nice. Other wig brands use fibers (heat friendly and otherwise) that can be smoothed every day or two with a straightener on low heat. I purchased this in dark chocolate mix and starting wearing it recently and don't see too much highlights, granted i haven't washed it yet, for some reason that makes a difference sometimes in the fiber. I have amina in the same color and although a rich brown you can see all of the highlights, this has more of a inky look, I can wear easily as my eyes are very dark and my coloring is okay with it. I ordered the Disc by Ellen Willie for bad hair days because it is similar to my own hairstyle. The platinum mix was a perfect match to my chemically treated platinum haircolor. I have an average head and though it states it is petite to average I found the cap too snug which was disappointing. The fiber is also very shiny which gives it an artificial look but a Jon Renau powder duster made it less shiny and more realistic looking. It's made to either wear flat or funky. I like to fluff it up and make it funky. The hair at the neckline and ears is very realistic. My only real con is that the cap is snug. I wish Ellen Willie offered this to fit the average size head because realistically average is average and petite is smaller so how can one size fit all. Because of the snug fit I can't wear it for long but when I do I get compliments galore and no one knows that it is a wig.Carole
Ok first of all, I have a smaller head and the Ellen Wille brand fits well and is so comfortable. It may be a bit tight if you have a loarge circumferene. Do not be afraid of the bangs on the model. If you push them to the side they seem to stay in place,, – As long as you are used to assymetrical styles. The style is very flattering even for a diamond face shape. The mono part is very realistic and looks like your scalp. It does not have a lace front, but really, it doesnt need one. The nape is on the shorter side but seems to cover and stay in place without sprining up. It has great side and 3/4 profiles. I bought the dark sand rooted and I am very pleased with the amazing colour. Ellen Wille graduates their hair colours very realistically. The colour was actually made specifically for this style. And Ellen Wille actually make a different wig cap specifically for each different style. The Mercedes of wigs.Janet
This is not the first wig I bought by Ellen Wille it is actually the 7th one. I always went for the very short hairstyles by Ellen Wille because I think they look very much like real hair. But when i bought Disc I was mesmerised. It fits me so well no one would ever think its a wig . I had Point by ellen wille which was also cool but this one just exceeded all my expectations to finally say i found the wig for me. I bought the flame mix colour now i want to buy the other colours too especially the coffee rooted one snd the auburn rooted. I will add some pics. Oh and btw i did cut a little from the fringe to make it perfect. Just a tiny bit .David C.
