I also purchased a pair of John Fashion sling back shoes which I absolutely loved. I returned The Ellie wig & requested a refund. This was the most awful low quality wig I every purchased. This use to be a great company back in the days and I was hoping it was still good. I cant believe you as a company purchased this wig, looked it over and still decided to sell it to your customers. If I wasn’t experienced in wearing wigs, this would have been a really frustrating and disappointing purchase. As soon as I took the hair out of the box, the ends seemed really tough and frizzy, to the point where the comb gets stuck. Because the quality is so poor, I ensure extremely gentle combing but somehow one of the tracks has already broken within the first 1-2 weeks. The **** are that once you tint the lace/add makeup and cut your baby hairs, the hairline blends really week and looks realistic. If you’re more of an expert at tailoring your own wigs then this isn’t too bad, but you won’t be able to wear it for too long because of the quality. I will still wear the wig, but only if I want to be bothered with brushing longer than usual. I wore everyday for a couple of weeks when I first got it. Then, one day opened the oven door after pre-heating to 425 degrees and fried the front of the wig. I know better than to do this, but it just slipped my mind. I immediately ordered a replacement. It arrived in about 4 days and I have been enjoying ever since. No more cooking for me!! As your records would show I have purchased many of this exact wig. When I got the first ones I was thrilled with them. They I would definitely have given 5 plus stars. Then I had purchased 2 more when I was concerned the others were wearing out. I thought they were horrible. Not as much hair on one side, colour was not what I had gotten before though the same number and I was planning on returning them but felt the shipping to return plus the shipping and duty I had already paid was not worth it so decided to donate to a women's group. Later I took another chance after complaining to this site and once again they were definitely not up to the standard of the original wigs. It seems to me the quality control was very poor and that because I didn't like them found myself wearing the old ones though they were showing their age. I needed shampoo and conditioner so thought I'd try one final time. Well these were better than the last four that were terrible but still not anywhere near the same standard as the originals. I sent back for several different reasons for an exchange. It was to blonde and didn’t have the beautiful red color popping out that I loved, so I sent back to get a different color. The top was to flat and didn’t look like it was made right (the parting in the middle) I couldn’t get it to flip over to the other side since I assumed I should have been able to do. I received this wig on 12-6-2021 by UPS .. The wig was in a none bubble package and it was in Horrible condition in other words it was a Mess …. It looked like it had been worn. I called the store and reported it to Ms Parlo . She told me I could return the wig pay for shipping and she would have to charge me a restocking fee of 30% . My total cost for the wig minus the shipping was $41.00 With an additional 30% off the total . Now you do the math . Therefore it’s not worth it to send it back .. It’s my lost..
