…..And not for the better. Like other loyal Toni Brattin customers, I too have noticed that the quality of the materials has declined, while the price consistently increases. The wigs are no longer packaged in the signature Toni Brattin box for easy storage, they're in a zip lock bag. But the biggest change is that the fibers used for the "hair" are very soft and lacking texture, and the wigs have less hair, making them difficult for many to style. The cut of the wig is also rather hit and miss, too much or too little hair in various places, and cowlicks in the crown.Fortunately for myself, I'm a licensed hair stylist, so I can handle the problem. Over the years, I've ordered four Trendsetters, And I can see the difference in each one ordered. As long as this wig is available, I will continue to order as it as the best style for me, but I really wish Toni and her manufacturers would address this issue.2MuchTrouble

I got this wig in light gray. It looked so fake. Very little hair. I have a lot of hair, and would like to stop coloring it, so I wanted to get used to the color. Well, it had half of the amount of hair I have. It felt super fake, like nylon fibers; it didn’t move like natural hair. It obviously look like a wig. Absolutely awful. I’m pretty sure that some wigs I saw on the big online retailer for less than $20, look and feel better than this. Extremely overpriced. I ordered the hair in the color #2 which actually matched my natural hair color perfectly. Unboxing the hair, it looked exactly like the model picture. It looks even more beautiful when you gently finger-comb the hair and even as it gets older. I've been wearing the hair for about 2 1/2 weeks now, it's still good baby. I call this my Beyoncè hair because that’s who I feel like when I put this on. I love it so much and have received many compliments on it. My only issues are that there are only two combs (front and back) so I had to sew an additional comb on each side to make sure it was secure, it does tangle easily (two days of wear and it’s starting to look matted, but I did comb it out like a ***** when I first got it), and the tracks are scarce on the cap, which made it difficult for my to blend my real hair w the wig to make it look natural(hence the combing) but I finally figured it out. Nora is a delightful fluff and go style with waves and almost curls. I got it in color 38, which is light ash brown with grey. It is supposed to be light ash brown with 25 percent grey (it seems a bit more than that;) It would be nice if Paula Young had at least one style featured in this color. The ash brown is very close to my natural color (a bit lighter) but Nora has more grey than I do personally. Nora arrived smelling absolutely wretched; I almost gagged when I opened the box. I had to wash the wig immediately. I used Paula Young shampoo. I thought I detected the (fumigant?) odor even after the wash, but when Nora dried, she no longer smelled. When I first put her on after she'd dried she was not pretty and the curls were mashed against the cap. I shook her vigorously and then took a wide tooth comb and really brought the fibers up off the cap. I wasn't rough, but I was deliberate in going over the entire wig to revive the fibers. I was able to achieve a style very similar to the catalog photo. In my photos, Nora has a more shag-like appearance, but once on she can be fluffed to the rounded silhouette of the catalog photo. Nora fits my 22.25 inch head comfortably and could be adjusted to go even a bit larger, or smaller. I find the fibers dry to the touch and just a bit coarser than my own very fine hair (although Nora's fiber does not look coarse.) Nora is comfortable to wear and an adorable style that goes with dressy as well as casual outfits. If you are prepared to spend a few moments waking Nora up after you first get her home, I think you will be pleasantly surprised at her fluff and go versatility. When this DANCE wig and COLOR ME EXQUISITE wigs arrived, upon removing them from the box they were cute, and the colors were pretty and the best thing they had going for them, However, they didn't look much like the ones the models in the pictures wore. And there is too much perma tease or "fluff" to them. They had really no style to them at all. Especially in the front, just couldn't do much with them. And didn't want to try since being careful with them is a must when trying them on. Very disappointed with these wigs. In my humble opinion they were not great and not keepers. So I am returning them and probably won't buy anymore wigs again. Sorry PY but your wigs need to be lighter weight, lay nicer, (some of us like a bit flatter style) far less perma tease or fluff, easier to wear right out of the box…Thanks anyway…Juanita
I am completely disappointed with my purchase. I ordered two of this wig because I really like the look of the style in the picture. The wigs I received will not comb into the style shown. The top is spiked and will only stand straight up and the bangs stick straight out and will not lay nicely against the forehead. I tried to tame it down with wig spray and hair gel but it won't lay down. The top hair stands straight up and the bangs stick straight out. The wig will not comb into a nice smooth pixie like the picture shows. I would not recommend a person buy this wig unless you want spiked hair that stands straight up at the top of your head and bangs that stick straight out at your forehead. This was the third wig of this style that I have purchased. I have been very happy with them, so that is why I ordered more. This last shipment I received, after some delay because of it being out of stock, was not the same as my previous orders. It was much longer on one side than the other. I took it to my hairdresser who trims my wigs and she had a hard time getting it to look presentable. It is still not laying right. It's like they put more hair on one side than the other. Did they not pay attention to the quality of the wig because they were rushing to fill waiting orders? I have been a loyal customer and have purchased several wigs from you. I am very disappointed in this purchase. I know I cannot return the wig because it has been trimmed. But you should be aware that the company who made it is doing a bad job on your wigs. Going on vacation, need a wig so I don't have to worry about humidity, wind off the waters, or spending precious ahhhhhh time on my own hair. This wig will certainly fit the bill! The color and texture are both wonderfully believable. It feels soft yet not slick to the touch. It's not shiny, but it looks "healthy." I love that there is no hard part down the middle, just that zig-zag movement of hair to either side. It's looks great and no worries about that tell-tale wig look. My one star off is because of the thickness. I realize wigs need to be thick so the movement of the hair does not reveal the cap underneath, but there's a little too much around the face. It can be combed back a little, and use a hairspray to keep the bangs askew and to the side. I may just have to get used to that much hair falling forward, or get it thinned by my stylist. Because I had a relatively good experience with another Hairdo wig (Wave Cut) in the same color (Glazed Black Cherry R435S+) I expected to love Classic Page. I didn't. Now, the color is beautiful — virtually identical to Jon Renau's 4/33 (Raspberry Chocolate Truffle) — and the denier of the fiber is typical of Hairdo (HairUWear): soft, fine, natural looking with great movement. No complaints about their fibers. In fact, I only bought Classic Page because I wanted an inexpensive analog to my expensive Renaus in 4/33 (Kristi, Elizabeth) to wear on the plan for an upcoming trip. Since it is a simple bob with bangs, I thought it would be better than Wave Cut, which is a long wavy bob similar to Heidi, for example, but again with bangs. Bangs often work really well. Take Jon Renau's Emilia, for example. That is a beautiful, comfortable, classic long bob with bangs and I have it in another of my favorite colors, 1BRH30 (Mocha Truffle). If Emilia came in 4/33, I would have gotten her to take on the trip. The issue is that 4/33 is only available on select hair pieces. Classic Page was a good alternative. But, the bangs are dense, the wig is heavy, and the whole effect is "wiggy". It isn't all that comfortable. And, it is not because it is an inexpensive piece. I have others like Blair (Renau) and Vina (RoP) that are really simple and yet feel like nothing on. The only time I would wear Classic Page is if I am going out in the rain to the supermarket. Otherwise, it is so hot and obvious that I wouldn't feel comfortable with it on. I have a full head of fine biohair, shoulder length. I wear alternative hair to give myself variety and styles my own fickle hair wouldn't achieve. Therefore, I want the most believable, natural pieces I can find, at any price. I hope someone else has had a better experience with Classic Page than I have. (By the way, I over-exposed the photograph here so you could see the color. I received this wig yesterday and tried it on immediately. It is a great style but there is so much hair it looked like I had a motorcycle helmet on. Very disappointed because I had to send it back today. Sorry QVC I really wanted to love it. I love TB wigs….this price point is so great. The wig always looks better in person that it does on the models on tv (sorry). But Toni always looks great because she makes it suit her and that is what we have to do as well. The light blonde is the perfect blend of light blonde, beige blonde and brown roots. It look so real and I am a type-A person…this heat friendly fiber is NOT shiny or wiggy looking. The back view of this wig is what I have been looking for on a short wig…perfect length/good coverage. TIP: Do not brush your wig too hard.. it ruins the fibers. You can find lots of help on youtube for heat friendly fiber wig care. Go easy on it. Use your hands to style and little hairspray for flyaways/or "piece out" creme made for wigs to style. I have almost every style of Toni's and this short style is perfection. Title review really says it all. It is way too big, unless you have a big head. It either comes down to the eye brows (and not the hair falling over the brows, the hair is in your mouth) or if pulled back, it slides down your neck. In either case it covers both ears completely or if you put behind your ears, it then sticks up on top like a conehead. In any case, if has to be defective. I can't imagine anyone could live with a head that big. You couldn't hold it up! But take your chances on ordering one. If they can make a huge mistake like that when making the wig, then how good is the quality? How long could a badly made wig last? It does not feel like real or look like real hair. And I thought my own hair is thin, the wig is thinner than my own! It does not come styled. You will have to style it and put on a lot of hair spray to keep it in control. There has to be better wigs somewhere. At the price of this one, I was very disappointed in this wig. I would recommend Clipperpro toe nail clippers for those who clip their own nails. The clipper head swivels & locks in place so you can hold the handle just as you would hold the handle on your car door and the cutting end faces you toes. They are perfect for anyone, but super great for people who have a hard time using the old fashion kind. Check them out on the video. Mischa has become my daily go to to space out the crochets or twist outs. The weekend long event of cleansing and twisting my natural hair–I'm over it. She does need a little shaping, but looks very natural. I get compliments every time I wear her. She gets frizzy over time, but that lends to the natural look up to a point. A quick wash restores some of the curl, but I keep a couple on hand in different shades.Liz
