Been wearing my hair short for years and I finally decided to stop getting it permed. The shape of this wig is totally different than the picture. The length is quite shorter than expected as well. I was hoping to just put this on and go but I had to cut it and try and fix the unruly waves and coax them into a decent shape.pearce494

I received this wig on 12-6-2021 by UPS .. The wig was in a none bubble package and it was in Horrible condition in other words it was a Mess …. It looked like it had been worn. I called the store and reported it to Ms Parlo . She told me I could return the wig pay for shipping and she would have to charge me a restocking fee of 30% . My total cost for the wig minus the shipping was $41.00 With an additional 30% off the total . Now you do the math . Therefore it’s not worth it to send it back .. It’s my lost.. I will not be purchasing any more wigs from this company.Ms R.

I purchased 2 wigs. The Tango & the Ellie (which I returned because I didnt like it). The Tango was everything I expected. I also purchased a pair of John Fashion sling back shoes which I absolutely loved. I returned The Ellie wig & requested a refund. Aft several days, I traced the US mail pkg & it had been received but I had not received my refund as requested. So I called a cpl times using my sister's fone becaz I had poor reception on my Gov fone & later not enuff minutes 2 call Especially Yours & ck on my refund. I was denied my refund of $39.99 for the wig I returned becaz I was using someone else's fone. Although I used my OWN email address & Credit card 2 pay for my order. I had 2 call my bank & have the charges reversed becaz they UNJUSTLY denied my refund. I don't owe them & have never ordered from them before & was treated unfairly. They had a dispute with someone else & tried to make me pay. Very unfair and unjust.Johnnie

This was the most awful low quality wig I every purchased. This use to be a great company back in the days and I was hoping it was still good. I cant believe you as a company purchased this wig, looked it over and still decided to sell it to your customers. It was poor quality and looked nothing like this pick except for the frizziness, look closer and it's there. I returned the same day I received it for a refund and I was told then it was a on sale and couldn't get a refund so not only poor quality, poor customer service. What I received wasn’t what was pictured in the catalog or online. So I googled it, the color was at the wig.shop. The only recent I didn’t return it was because it was a gift from my husband and it would have hurt him. He didn’t know about color selection. What he selected was what he thought was in the picture. After purchasing other brown wigs (all disappointments) I decided on this Kaylss model that is Brown with Highlights, and I'm so glad I did! I have purchased several Kalyss in the past because of their quality and value. IMO they are really the best brand in low price wigs and often outshine.hundred dollar ones . (my pro's) Well Constructed Cap (also fits big heads), the length is Mid-Back, No Doll Hair Shine, the highlights aren't as obvious as the pictures, the part is reasonable, and it Looks & Feels Like Real Hair. My only wish is the bangs were longer, but I can work with them. (my only con) They don't last forever. They will give you 3 months of everyday wear, but as with other brands the frizzies are their ultimate demise. However since the price is low I just buy another. So if you are considering a brown wig with highlights, spend a little more and buy this one. You'll be glad you did!alliecat2u

I love this wig. It’s so beautiful. The hairline is spacious and can be parted anywhere. The curls are full n the texture of the hair is perfect. I made a middle part and a side part and it looked perfect both ways.i didn’t have any tangling either. I’m surprised I hadn’t heard about this wig before. It’s a well kept secret. If I wasn’t experienced in wearing wigs, this would have been a really frustrating and disappointing purchase. As soon as I took the hair out of the box, the ends seemed really tough and frizzy, to the point where the comb gets stuck. Because the quality is so poor, I ensure extremely gentle combing but somehow one of the tracks has already broken within the first 1-2 weeks. The **** are that once you tint the lace/add makeup and cut your baby hairs, the hairline blends really week and looks realistic. If you’re more of an expert at tailoring your own wigs then this isn’t too bad, but you won’t be able to wear it for too long because of the quality. If it was cheaper like the original price in the US then I don’t think I would have minded as much.Danielle C.

I am obsessed with this wig! This was my 3rd time ordering, but my first time getting a wig installed for daily wear. When I tell you!!!! It doesn’t feel heavy on my head. It’s a tad tight, BUT I think that’s because I’m not use to wearing one daily, not because of the make of the unit. The color is EXACTLY what I expected and is a perfect summer blend I love that it is a side part too because I love doing a clipped back look behind my ear (will make it easier to wear my walkie at work) I thought it was gonna be too long but I actually love the length! This piece seemed very promising but the pieces do not have much security. You will need to add Bobby pins to make it feel somewhat secure. Additionally the back piece is huge and doesn’t sit on the back of my head right. It feel like a large hat is fallIng off my head in the back. Even when I put my ponytail to the front of my head, the back piece feels so big and baggy. I just wear the ponytail and not the back piece. I purchased in color 1 which is super black and wore with a headband since my edges are not super black (1b is more natural black). These up/down 4-n-1’s are real convenient. Love the texture of UD11…reminds me of a relaxer or press blowout – it’s real soft with body and fullness, but lightweight with a realistic sheen. When I wear the 1b color people think it’s all my hair. I’m trying the burgundy and copper colors to see if I like as much as the darker tones. Minimal shedding typical for synthetic hair. The wrap ponytail has combs, but I added small self-adhesive velcro tabs to keep it extra secure. This site had the lowest price +discounts…it’s worth adding to your collection!Erica B.

Hi, I have been purchasing this Shannon wig for 8yrs now and have "Never" been dis-appointed! The Shannon wig is not only durable for daily wear and holds up very well wash after was it also, is my go to wig for a quick updo for special occasions!!! My color of choice is Wheat Rooted because I have fair skin and green eyes and boy does this rooted color make my eyes pop!!! For some reason unknown to doctors when I was just 24yrs old I lost all my hair over a span of 8 months and battling cervical cancer as well! As a young woman I was devastated and experiencing depression, chemo was brutal to say the least. I had a young family to raise and had to hold down a high pressure job where personal appearances mattered!!! So needless to say I was forced into buying those old fashioned bulky and ugly wigs. Then came the more natural looking wigs that were way over priced. All I can say is thank you Wig.com and Paula Young for making such durable cute and chic looking wigs at such affordable prices!!! I also, have purchased Avery wig and Nola wig and I'm currently deciding to purchase the new Sloane wig (if you haven't checked out any of these wigs, please do so)!!! The "Special Bonus" is all of these wigs are "Versa Fiber Wigs" as well as Heat Friendly. This is key to all of the wigs I have mentioned being extremely durable shampoo after shampoo & conditioner to holding up so well!!! You can stick your head near the oven when cooking, take a walk on a hot and or humid day, sunbathe etc..etc and all of these wigs will hold up to all of what I just mentioned! Of course don't forget to purchase the correct wig shampoo, wig spray conditioner and wig spray found on both Wig.com and Paula Young. These accessories are really very important for proper wig care!!! Also, if you can afford it please splurge on a good wig stand and wig travel case, which are also found on Wig com. Stay tuned because I will be posting photos of the above mentioned wigs really soon. I will show you the various ways they can be effortlessly styled in updos and curled or just straight out of the box after just a few shakes!!! I’ve worn Shannon for many years and I love it! I’ve tried other styles, I always go back to my favorite, Shannon. I get compliments all the time! I’ve had beautician friends that were shocked when I told them I had a wig on! They fry very quickly and are so easy to style. I lost most of my hair because of medication that I take for a bladder and thyroid disease. Paula Young has changed my life with the Shannon wig. I am forever grateful. I am 74 years old. This is one of the prettiest & sexiest wigs I've bought in a long time. She's very cute & sassy. I've had wonderful responses from people I met 6 weeks ago in a therapy center I've been put in for a broken leg and will be here probably another 2 months. When you're brought in of course everyone wants to know how old you are. The average guess was 48-49. I needed a great boost at this time, going to be gone so long from home & seeing no family. Wore this wig on a flght and every woman on the flight, stopped by my seat to admire it. Wow what a surprise, most of them, actually applauded me and my hair style, it was at least twenty- six women, which does not include the stewards working on this flight, add four more women tothis group of admirers. I loved the concept of the wig. The front can be styled to your taste. The braid is beautiful. I would have loved it even more if was grey/ silver. I have long passed the salt and pepper hair. I gave it to a friend who loves it, I envy her.Della

Nora is a delightful fluff and go style with waves and almost curls. I got it in color 38, which is light ash brown with grey. It is supposed to be light ash brown with 25 percent grey (it seems a bit more than that;) It would be nice if Paula Young had at least one style featured in this color. The ash brown is very close to my natural color (a bit lighter) but Nora has more grey than I do personally. Nora arrived smelling absolutely wretched; I almost gagged when I opened the box. I had to wash the wig immediately. I used Paula Young shampoo. I thought I detected the (fumigant?) odor even after the wash, but when Nora dried, she no longer smelled. When I first put her on after she'd dried she was not pretty and the curls were mashed against the cap. I shook her vigorously and then took a wide tooth comb and really brought the fibers up off the cap. I wasn't rough, but I was deliberate in going over the entire wig to revive the fibers. I was able to achieve a style very similar to the catalog photo. In my photos, Nora has a more shag-like appearance, but once on she can be fluffed to the rounded silhouette of the catalog photo. Nora fits my 22.25 inch head comfortably and could be adjusted to go even a bit larger, or smaller. I find the fibers dry to the touch and just a bit coarser than my own very fine hair (although Nora's fiber does not look coarse.) Nora is comfortable to wear and an adorable style that goes with dressy as well as casual outfits. If you are prepared to spend a few moments waking Nora up after you first get her home, I think you will be pleasantly surprised at her fluff and go versatility. Coverage around the ears and nape is great.Lisa

When this DANCE wig and COLOR ME EXQUISITE wigs arrived, upon removing them from the box they were cute, and the colors were pretty and the best thing they had going for them, However, they didn't look much like the ones the models in the pictures wore. And there is too much perma tease or "fluff" to them. They had really no style to them at all. Especially in the front, just couldn't do much with them. And didn't want to try since being careful with them is a must when trying them on. Very disappointed with these wigs. In my humble opinion they were not great and not keepers. So I am returning them and probably won't buy anymore wigs again. Sorry PY but your wigs need to be lighter weight, lay nicer, (some of us like a bit flatter style) far less perma tease or fluff, easier to wear right out of the box…Thanks anyway…Juanita

I am completely disappointed with my purchase. I ordered two of this wig because I really like the look of the style in the picture. The wigs I received will not comb into the style shown. The top is spiked and will only stand straight up and the bangs stick straight out and will not lay nicely against the forehead. I tried to tame it down with wig spray and hair gel but it won't lay down. The top hair stands straight up and the bangs stick straight out. The wig will not comb into a nice smooth pixie like the picture shows. I would not recommend a person buy this wig unless you want spiked hair that stands straight up at the top of your head and bangs that stick straight out at your forehead. The style does not resemble the picture at all !Eve

I’m always looking for a better style (I’m thinking).. just donated 23 #101 color/blonde spare-hairs. … now I’m wearing 60 color and building up my stash. Love this one. It’s similar to R Welch’s Voltage, which I love. But this may be shorter.. it’s a really neat style, fits well! And just the right amount of hair.Suzann

I received my Wren just before christmas and have been wearing it for about a month now. I needed to do some altering to make it wearable. It was very thick at the bottom so I thinned it abit jus from half of the lenght. I also made the part more visible by pulling out some hair. I notice this wig is very set, and not easy to style in different ways like I have done with other wigs. It has turned a little frizzy after a months wear. The color is r14/26h. I do like this color as a light brown/blonde. I do not like that there is not a slightly darker root and I do think that the alternative a root 4 is too dark for me. My solution is to make root with rootpowder. Works fine, but I would prefer a wig with root in color around 10 for this wig. All in all wig is ok, but nothing more. I will wear this wig still, but not a favorite I will reorder.Betsy

I just started having to wear wigs about 6 months ago and since I don’t have any wig shops near me have had to rely on purchasing solely online which is very scary… this wig exceeded my expectations! Very natural looking on and instantly made me look like I’d just walked out of a salon. I love the rooted color and the highlights- seriously looks completely natural! If you have any worries about people thinking you’re wearing a wig “let it go” because no one will have a clue. Wish I could leave pics because it is stunning!Sherry

I recently had extreme hair loss due to alopecia and needed to purchase a wig. I have never had to do anything like this and didn't know where to start. After looking through SEVERAL websites and styles of wigs I chose Always. It came in promptly, less than a week. It was beautiful right out the box. I wanted looser curls so I combed it out and it looked wonderful! Day 1, I wore it for maybe 4 hours out running errands. When I got home the ends were SO matted and tangled. The ends of the wig look like damaged hair, frizzy and crinkled. I have not used any heat and I have not washed it yet. I've worn it out twice and it looks terrible. I did buy the synthetic hair care package and been applying the products as directed. After purchasing this wig I now know what not to get and what to look for in a wig. I really don't think it will be another Raquel Welch wig. I am so disappointed and hate that I spent $150+ on this poor quality wig.Mariah

The wig was already thinning in the front when I got it and I can't hide this with bio hair because the lace is too long (can't cut the lace because it is the only thing gripping the front, there are no clips). I don't recommend this piece for people with small/low foreheads, maybe if you are completely bald with no bio hair it might work for you but not if you have pale skin because the knots are very dark and the lace is tan. I tried to straighten the hair on low heat and it made a melting smell, I question if all the hair is real. The cap is also extremely itchy and the lace is not soft (because the lace grips) so it is uncomfortable when it sits on my forehead. I would need to sew in clips and then seal off the lace so it doesn't unravel when trimmed, but for $2000 I would expect this to be of better quality. I own many wigs and hair toppers, I am always disappointed in Jon Renau but I took a risk because I liked the color. The Jon Renau brand is not carried much anymore because their pieces are just not worth the price. I am just going to have to stick with Uniwigs because at least I know what to expect and they are keeping up with the trends for comfort and affordability.LS

The hair piece is nicely made and the color was spot-on. I really, really wanted to like this wig. My overall problem was the style… and was in a few of the reviews I had read prior. The front part was over bearing and so much so that it wouldn't stay out of my face…. almost like there was too much hair. While I didn't try to style the piece or trim to see if that would make a difference (didn't want to do anything in case I returned, which I did), so it's possible I could have made it work. But I just couldn't get past the front portion of the wig and all the volume; I couldn't figure out what to do with it! I am not new to hair pieces, wigs and extension pony-tails so I am aware that some effort is-or-might be necessary, etc., but it simply just looked fake on me. I only deducted 1 Star because it might have been fixable but $300.++ I didn't want to take that chance so I returned. But overall, the wig is pretty and the cap is comfy. Good luck!Susie

I bought this in medium brown. I love this colour beautiful subtle highlighted brown shades not flashy. Wow does it ever look like human hair but washes and bounces back easily. I loosened the curls at the bottom a bit with a flat iron to look more like the manufacturer's photo and I wear it half pulled back with a gorgeous clip or twisted into an updo and secured with a claw clip. Wearing it to a wedding as this is special occasion hair.Anne

I'm really frustrated with myself that I didn't return it but I was so excited about getting a quality wig. I have been purchasing online from Chinese suppliers period I was thrilled that I was going to get an American company. However this was the worst wig I've ever tried… the colors wrong I needed a darker color as well as the cut is very aged period I'm 59 years Young have a great sense of fashion and none of my peers or co-workers enjoy this wig.
