I got these in recently and the first thing my girlfriend mentioned was how much better they looked than the old Splatoon Amiibo (original girl and boy). The paint job is a lot better quality work and the paint itself is a lot better looking. There is a lot more colors being used than the previous ones. I haven't used the Amiibo saving feature yet though (you can save your settings, like motion or no motion controls, sensitivity, etc to the Amiibo and quickly load it up on any system). However I don't particularly like the pose or hair color chosen. I may look into custom painting this one with some acrylic paint.WuTangTurtle

Each octoling has a lot of detail and the paint job is great! Octoling boy doesn’t speak good English when connected “it was nice to “meat” me”! The weapons are defo a bit delicate + flimsy, but they aren't toys more display peices. (considering they are stuck on a stand + also stuck in certain poses) Kinda wish that they came in different colours.. like i'd probably prefer purple ones than pink but that's just me. overall amiibos are great. they give some cosmetics in splatoon 2, and great display peicesMatt
