I received this wig yesterday and tried it on immediately. It is a great style but there is so much hair it looked like I had a motorcycle helmet on. Very disappointed because I had to send it back today. Sorry QVC I really wanted to love it. I love TB wigs….this price point is so great. The wig always looks better in person that it does on the models on tv (sorry). But Toni always looks great because she makes it suit her and that is what we have to do as well. The light blonde is the perfect blend of light blonde, beige blonde and brown roots. It look so real and I am a type-A person…this heat friendly fiber is NOT shiny or wiggy looking. The back view of this wig is what I have been looking for on a short wig…perfect length/good coverage. TIP: Do not brush your wig too hard.. it ruins the fibers. You can find lots of help on youtube for heat friendly fiber wig care. Go easy on it. Use your hands to style and little hairspray for flyaways/or "piece out" creme made for wigs to style. I have almost every style of Toni's and this short style is perfection. Title review really says it all. It is way too big, unless you have a big head. It either comes down to the eye brows (and not the hair falling over the brows, the hair is in your mouth) or if pulled back, it slides down your neck. In either case it covers both ears completely or if you put behind your ears, it then sticks up on top like a conehead. In any case, if has to be defective. I can't imagine anyone could live with a head that big. You couldn't hold it up! But take your chances on ordering one. If they can make a huge mistake like that when making the wig, then how good is the quality? How long could a badly made wig last? It does not feel like real or look like real hair. And I thought my own hair is thin, the wig is thinner than my own! It does not come styled. You will have to style it and put on a lot of hair spray to keep it in control. There has to be better wigs somewhere. At the price of this one, I was very disappointed in this wig. I would recommend Clipperpro toe nail clippers for those who clip their own nails. The clipper head swivels & locks in place so you can hold the handle just as you would hold the handle on your car door and the cutting end faces you toes. They are perfect for anyone, but super great for people who have a hard time using the old fashion kind. Check them out on the video. I really like the pony tail that came in this set. It is shorter and I can wear it low or with a hat. Very cute. Very secure. I ordered Medium Brown and it was a perfect color match to my hair. I don't have a lot of hair and I tried to put the hair twist in….fell right off. I'm guessing I would need a lot more hair that I can wind up into a bun before I can use it. I am going to try to get clever and pin it in or use a hair claw to make it stay, but I don't have high hopes. Not sure how people with pony nubs are suppose to use the twist. Hair piece was not my color so I didn't try them. But I do have one of Toni's curly pony tails. I love it! The only problem is the color. I have more light brown with a lot of gray and the hair piece has more medium brown with very little gray. With the color ranges of hair today I feel comfortable. At 78 I have worn wigs off and on for a long time and this is the first hair piece I feel absolutely comfortable and confident to wear. Please make more gray pieces with accent of brown. I have a few sets of hair clips and consider them a good product. Unfortunately, the last pair ordered arrived with broken teeth in both clips so were returned. I did not receive a return on the shipping fee, however, and do not think this is good customer service. I did not order clips with broken teeth so feel I should not have to pay the initial shipping. Cannot imagine how the teeth could be broken in transit so the product must not have been checked at all during the packaging process. The broken pieces were in with the clips packaging and fell on the floor when plastic bag opened. The curls look really natural…like you have naturally curly hair and the style is a fun combination between tame and wild (if that makes sense!) I work a very physically demanding job, so I wanted something that was cute but would not tangle or require me to mess with it during my shift. I did wear this out tonight for girls night out with my best friend…I can always count on her to tell me the truth about the basics – does it look natural, is it flattering, and most important, does it look "wiggy"…this one passed with flying colors! The other thing I like was the price…I typically only buy mono-top wigs because they look so natural, but with the curls, it isn't noticeable at all and it keeps the price down. I received the hairpiece on a timely basis. It was in good shape. The color I ordered, Silverstone, didn't say anything about being completely white in the front. Some of the others did which is why I didn't order them. When I called after I received it the customer service person wasn't much help . I like the piece and bought one previously in a different color. I believe the picture of the piece needs to show the front as well as the back especially when it is so different. I was disappointed because I thought this piece was an answer to my problems. I did keep the hairpiece because I didn't see any others in the gray tones. The description for the Silverstone color needs to say it is white in the front. Like I said the others did which is why I didn't buy them. I have been wearing wigs and hairpieces for over 20 years. Great topper wig for coverage. It's almost like a full wig, but not as confining or heavy. I have thinning hair, and the clips keep the topper in place. I believe this synthetic wiglet looks more authentic than many others, because the 'hair' is not so shiny. Also, the amount of hair is generous in this wiglet. I've found that hairpieces work well for me since I still have plenty hair everywhere but the top and upper sides of my head. So I don't need to wear a hot, full wig! I ordered this Enhancer first in a color that wasn't right so I reordered in wineberry. I was concerned wineberry might be too red but it's not – it's a very natural looking soft red and blends exactly with the color I put on my delicate hair (I avoid beauty shop or main brand chemical colors). I use Herbaceuticals Naturcolor that I get at Sprouts or Wholefoods. I mix Cinnamon with Turmeric Blonde -2/3 to 1/3 – and get a very similar shade to this Wineberry color – lasts longer than Clairol or chemical colors anyway. I tell you this because many of us redhead and blondes don't need to be using harsh chemicals on our delicate, baby fine hair as we age. I'm 67 and I think a hairpiece makes more difference in my not looking my age than all the facial creams and procedures I could afford to do. Vogue Wigs has been very helpful in my returning and exchanging pieces until I get just the right one. Nice online company to do business with!

I've owned many Gabor Wigs – but this… this one was absolutely horrid! The quality of hair fibers were rough, tough and frizzy. Purchased this because I liked the layers and feathered sides. But the wig I received had no shape or style to it – the hair was sticking up and was all over the place. It looked like someone tried thinning it -there were weird spots where it was thin and in other spots it was thick. Also, it is shorter than the picture. I am seriously displeased and disappointed with this wig! I can't even send it back because I desperately tried to get the wig to hold some sort of neat shape using styling cream (totally unsuccessful…). I'm glad I got this on sale and didn't pay full price! Gabor Wigs – if this is your new "standard" you are going to lose a long time and faithful customer – PLEASE improve your quality control!! I received it and arranged and put it on my head. I'm 78 years old and due to medication following a massive stroke 14 years ago, I have very little hair on top of my head. I think I looked adorable with those bangs. I don't think I've looked adorable in the last 30 years. But, there is a terrible problem with this piece. It has too much hair, and is too heavy. It is a topper, but has so much excess hair all around. I tried to push the har behind my ears. To much heavy hair. It wouldn't stay any place I put it. I would love for you to let someone know to remake it with less hair. The part on the top sits well, and so do the bangs, althought they could also be more whispy rather than heavy. Bottom line is I really need a topper with less hair in addition to the topper piece. I hope it can be done.Myra W
I like others was disappointed in my light grey topper. The color was not the same as my toni brattin wig in light grey that matched my hair. It had a warm color with too much brown instead of a silvery white. Plus being elderly with arthritic fingers the clips were very hard to close and open and almost impossible for me to place it on my head correctly. A neighbor could do it for me – but that is not helpful to me. Sorry I had to return it. If you can manage it and get the correct color I think this would be great.whydoweneedone
I received two of these in 2 brown shades (Not sure which shade would work for me) and they are so shiny that there is no way anyone would think it was my hair! Sending back immediately!! Sorry I even ordered them! I should have waited to read others reviews about how shiny they are! Now I have to pay to return them! Can't QVC find a manufacturer that can produce a hair piece that looks real? I did like the style with the center part since I wear a center part and that is the only thing that would make it look real for me!ladybugpat

It is just as I expected, although I am having a hard time pulling my real hair through the cap to make it look realistic. I ordered the white, which is my primary color. It is a very pretty white with nice shine, but unless I figure out how to pull my hair through it will look ridiculous! I love this piece. I've struggled with very thin hair in front and on top for most of my life. This piece is so comfortable and the color is extremely believable. I ordered a beautiful light brown with 15% grey. I can't even tell where my own hair ends and this piece begins. Very easy to put on and feels so secure. The only "con" I can say is the bit of a "fuzzy top" that others have commented on. I don't quite understand why it's there but have been able to deal with it. If not for that, it would have been a perfect 5-star review. I may even consider ordering another one so I have a spare. I absolutely love it.

Believe me when I say I have purchased MANY of Toni's wigs over the years since I wear one every single day. The only shade I order is Medium Golden Blonde. Well, when I took this wig out of the box, I thought this one is cute and going to work UNTIL I put it on and saw how BANANA YELLOW it was! Back it went! Definitely NOT Medium Golden Blonde.Chrisee
Have a number of wigs from Toni and Hairdo. Removed the wig from packaging and gave it a good shake. Then with a little powder on both hands, I ran my fingers through the wig and again gave it a little shake and put it on. Ran my fingers through the strands and styled it with very little spray. The wigs are no longer packaged in the signature Toni Brattin box for easy storage, they're in a zip lock bag. But the biggest change is that the fibers used for the "hair" are very soft and lacking texture, and the wigs have less hair, making them difficult for many to style. The cut of the wig is also rather hit and miss, too much or too little hair in various places, and cowlicks in the crown.Fortunately for myself, I'm a licensed hair stylist, so I can handle the problem. Over the years, I've ordered four Trendsetters, And I can see the difference in each one ordered. I purchased this style because it is my exact haircut when I wear it short. Beautiful package, black and white box with instructions, wig in a net and the stocking cap. The brown/gray is not an option in this style so the brown/blonde was my next choice. My Ist purchase was the brown/gray hairpiece duo and I was impressed by the quality and the exact match to my hair color. Easy to wear. I purchased this style because it is my exact haircut when I wear it short. Beautiful package, black and white box with instructions, wig in a net and the stocking cap. The brown/gray is not an option in this style so the brown/blonde was my next choice. Well, I finally tried it on today and all modesty aside, I look absolutely too die for Cute with a capital C adorable and my picky Virgo husband just freaked out in a very good way. The color is incredible, the hair looks exactly like my real hair at every angle. It is pretty easy to put on too. I suffer from overheating and l left it on for around 2 hours at home in AC but in Miami, and forgot I had it on. The stocking cap is not for me so I pinned my shoulder length bob and on the first try l looked as if I had stepped out of the salon. This Cuban 65 year old lady is beyond pleased. Well, it had half of the amount of hair I have. It felt super fake, like nylon fibers; it didn’t move like natural hair. It obviously look like a wig. Absolutely awful. I’m pretty sure that some wigs I saw on the big online retailer for less than $20, look and feel better than this. Extremely overpriced. Then I remembered that some years ago I had ordered something similar and had returned it because of the same reason. I didn’t learn that time, now I did. I can count with one hand my returns to QVC: this was one of them. It’s on its way.MVPQ

…..And not for the better. Like other loyal Toni Brattin customers, I too have noticed that the quality of the materials has declined, while the price consistently increases. The wigs are no longer packaged in the signature Toni Brattin box for easy storage, they're in a zip lock bag. But the biggest change is that the fibers used for the "hair" are very soft and lacking texture, and the wigs have less hair, making them difficult for many to style. The cut of the wig is also rather hit and miss, too much or too little hair in various places, and cowlicks in the crown.Fortunately for myself, I'm a licensed hair stylist, so I can handle the problem. Over the years, I've ordered four Trendsetters, And I can see the difference in each one ordered.
