When I saw a picture of this wig, I thought to myself "finally!" This is the style I have been looking for for a while, short, straight, not too much hair, an Ignite but with a longer back. Unfortunately, this wig has a very small cap. It cannot possibly be average size. Average size fits usually lose on my head and this wig I could barely squeeze on. Secondly, it has no lace front. I am too used by now to wearing a lace front monofilament to feel comfortable wearing a wig without. I guess this is what you get for the price. The color and the fibers were great, but I had to return mainly because the cap was far too small.Mimi
The biggest problem I found with this wig was the fit. Average was too big, but petite felt too small. I have a Goldilocks size head and I found the ear tabs on the petite were way too high on my temples, but the front and back fit ok. I bought it on sale and thought I would take a risk even if it wasn’t perfect (and it’s not). The hair itself is good quality and appears to be well made and the style is very cute. I only wish there was a better way to buy wigs other than to pay upfront for an online item, only to find out it’s not quite right. It seems if you can try on hairstyles virtually, there should be a way to try on wigs virtually. If you could upload a photo or enter the dimensions of your head and then try on virtually, you can get an idea of where the ear tabs will fall, for example or how long the bangs will be. It would save a lot of time and money on returns. Eventually, someone will invent it, but until then, buying wigs online is a crapshoot. I prefer to buy locally, however most wig shops don’t carry a very large variety and if you buy the same wig through a wig shop, it will cost double.Vee B.
-1 star for how easily it tangles and sheds; I recommend wearing the hair down over updos because of it -1 star for how chunky highlights are at the part which are unconcealable +1 star for cap and hairline In my pics, I have not plucked the hairline, but I have straightened the wig and rearranged the part. The cap on this wig is definitely better quality than my cheaper amazon wigs (I like that it has velcro straps), but the hair itself both tangles and comes out more easily than my cheapy $30-50 wigs, which is unfortunate. I'd recommend not even bothering to try to do a half updo with this wig, which I'm personally disappointed by but that's okay, it looks good down. The lace came pre-cut, not sure if it was supposed to, but it fits perfectly and blends right into my pale skin, which is great. Hairline is great, pretty natural looking. I ordered the color FS4/33/30A Midnight Cocoa – the highlights are so chunky right up into the part (see pics). Doesn't matter which way you part it, you have giant stripes in your hair with this color (not too noticeable from straight on or from the side but I disapprove still haha). So I would NOT recommend the colors with highlights like this one, just get a solid color. So overall, I wish I got a different color, but that's on me. I bought this wig because it was a synthetic/ human hair blend and I thought it would last longer than a regular synthetic wig but boy was I wrong. I started wearing this wig on January 17th 2022 and it didn't even last a month before the nape started getting frizzy and sticking up in the back ( total give away that your wearing a wig) I really had high hopes for this one but was horribly disappointed! The hair on the top of the wig is lovely but Envy put cheap, horrible synthetic hair at the nape. You would think they would have learned a few things by now & would put human hair at the nape. This Emma wig didn't even last as long as a regular synthetic and was much more expensive. Take it from me ladies, I have been wearing wigs every day for the last 6 years and this wig is one of the worst I have ever had…save your money and just buy a synthetic wig.Laura S.
My bio hair is very curly, so when I saw Kaitlyn I knew I had to try her out. The trouble with this style is that the curl pattern/tightness/density DOES vary from piece to piece, so if you don't like the piece you receive, send it back for a different one. I wish I could have done that with mine – it was likely a return, and I can see why: the curls are loose and droopy and sad and sporadic. Sadly, it's a closeout item, so I'm stuck with my decision. (Absolutely NO shade to WigStudio1 – they're fabulous. This is all on me.) I'm going to wash her and see if that will perk up the curl pattern, and if it doesn't, there's always headbands! Just go into your purchase knowing you may not get the wig of your dreams on the first try. Purchased in chocolate caramel as you see in the photos. I’m a natural dark brunette and it works perfect. I also have a 23 inch head and this still fit me since the cap has a nice stretch. Stays on perfect with a velvet wig grip. Love the natural looking curls, the windblown messy look, and the sort of ***** nature of this wig. The short pixie back is a little different than what I’m used to since I’ve never had a wig that is short in the back and long on top. It takes a little getting used to. Overall I can say it’s comfortable, looks natural, and is super fun. Not sure I would do this as an every day wig but with these curly wigs they are great for a fun night out, a weekend ball game, that kind of thing. I’m 50 years old and I can get away with this style. I will put a review on YouTube under it’s a wonderful wig. Highly recommended.Emily

I have been suffering from thinning hair on my front and top head for several years. I often wear Kimono, Japanese traditional clothes. So, I looked for a natural and good wig harmonizing with Kimono. I need to make that wig up-styling. Simply Flawless much exceeded my expectations. It is very easy for me to make and arrange up-styling as seen on photos. Front Lace gives very natural hair line. Nobody cannot find I wear a wig. I have confidence to appear myself in public with wearing Simply Flawless and was freed from my worries. I want to try other front lace wig. I am pleased that if black color “Hot Fudge 1B” is added on color variation for all wigs.Sayuri
I bought my first at 50% to mostly experiment with professional cutting to a mid-size bob. Then I tried successfully loose curling with steam and rollers. I left it down and used small berets and claw clips to create different looks. All very nice and easy to manage. Wash every other week by turning wig inside out and swish around in synthetic wig soap or mild laundry detergent and cool water to keep curls in tact. Or use hot, tap water (not boiling water) to loosen the curls. You can straighten it using hand steamer and a comb. Curl again using hand steamer and curlers. Watch Youtube videos to learn how. Many possibilities even though this wig isn't heat friendly. I now love regular synthetics more than thick, over-coated, easily tangled heat friendly wigs. The lace part and cap is the best that I've seen with comfy (none bulky ear tabs). Ear tabs are well thought out for realistic. I would love for this to come in average size cap. I do make the petite work for me by using hot water to wash occasionally and drying on a foam head of 21.5" which is petite/avg…. so it stretches a little before applying to my head making it perfect fit.. not tight.Joanna E.
I was looking 2 custom cut since I don’t like many pre-cuts. 10/12 Sunlit Ches (matches description). Gabor’s color ring is accurate and the hair is fine/light and multi-dimensional. The color nearly matched my bio hair! Previously, I lost hope and bought a human hair wig Louis Ferre in Ginger Brown 50% off sale. After seeing many med brown colors, I found ginger nice so kept it because 50% off & make it my experimental piece, with hope! Ened up not liking L.F.’s thick hair. After deciding to keep it to customize, we tried "red out" with med brown neutral color to tone down. No damage done, but no change in color so lesson learned with pre-processed and Remy hair. Simple Flawless’s (All Gabor) lace front and mono tops are great. Fits my avg size head. Not shiny like with Jon Renau's & Raquel Welch's. I planned to cut it from its long glory to 14". But then I realized I don't like wearing "straight" on my shoulders at work. My coat on/off, cleaning/ stocking around the office causes straight hair to appear stiff/clumpy. Still hav 2 learn 2 prevent this. I cut it 2 med length. Make sure your stylist has experience with synthetics). I wore it for a wk after getting the 2nd cut and then decided to try curling it. I watched online videos showing a few folks using a curling iron (yes on synthetic!), steam curling and boil curling. I did boil curling last & it gave the best, long lasting curls. Victoria is a stunning style, and Jon Renau's 100% hand-tied wigs are sooo comfortable. Unfortunately, I had the same problem with Victoria that I had with one other JR hand-tied style: the lace front was far too big for my narrow forehead, and it buckled up/gapped. Some JR hand-tied wigs fit me fine, but this one (and one other, as mentioned) did not. I do have a narrow forehead. So while my head is average, it's petite in the forehead area. I imagine people with truly average size foreheads would have no trouble with this wig. And it's a stunner!
This is my second handtied wig from JR. I must say I am addicted to them! I love not having to worry about wig wefts showing and the fact he hair moves so freely all the way around the wig. Not just on top! This wig is 100% worth the cost, no doubt in my mind. I could wear this daily , all day and actually forget I have it on. It is that light! I also love the density is light so it's not bulky and looks VERY, VERY realistic. This is the perfect bob. I have this wig in the colors 6F27 as well as 12FS8. The 12FS8 seems a bit more dense at the hairline than the other non rooted color. This seems to be with most JR wigs I own that the shaded colors are thicker at the hairline. I don't know why. For some that is a plus if you have hair to hide under the wig, it will. I prefer a more sparse hairline, I think it looks better but that is just me. This wig is amazing and I am working on getting my third in the 4/33 color. It does provide good coverage at the ears and nape and I have not sweat at all in this wig and I live in a humid and warm climate. Pros EVERYTHING! Cons NOTHING!
Great wig overall! Friends thought I posted a pic of myself pre-chemo baldness with it on! I wish I had gotten a heat resistant wig for my first one, though. Here’s why: with it being mono top, I thought it would be easier to part the hair where I wanted it to be. It WILL go that way, but takes some product to do so and doesn’t hold the part where I’d like it to be (and since I can’t just straight iron it that way I got a bit frustrated). I decided to cut bangs into it and sort of ruined the look-oops, too late! I will have my stylist fix it up for me when she opens back up, because I like a more drastic angle from back to front, and the back top falls a bit flat, whereas a more stacked look is preferred by me. Definitely worth a go, but I think for the price, I wish it was heat resistant for styling purposes. The color was spot on. I got the 12FS8 Shaded Praline.Elizabeth J.

I bought this wig because it was a synthetic/ human hair blend and I thought it would last longer than a regular synthetic wig but boy was I wrong. I started wearing this wig on January 17th 2022 and it didn't even last a month before the nape started getting frizzy and sticking up in the back ( total give away that your wearing a wig) I really had high hopes for this one but was horribly disappointed! The hair on the top of the wig is lovely but Envy put cheap, horrible synthetic hair at the nape. You would think they would have learned a few things by now & would put human hair at the nape. This Emma wig didn't even last as long as a regular synthetic and was much more expensive. Take it from me ladies, I have been wearing wigs every day for the last 6 years and this wig is one of the worst I have ever had…save your money and just buy a synthetic wig.Laura S.

The trouble with this style is that the curl pattern/tightness/density DOES vary from piece to piece, so if you don't like the piece you receive, send it back for a different one. I wish I could have done that with mine – it was likely a return, and I can see why: the curls are loose and droopy and sad and sporadic. Sadly, it's a closeout item, so I'm stuck with my decision. (Absolutely NO shade to WigStudio1 – they're fabulous. This is all on me.) I'm going to wash her and see if that will perk up the curl pattern, and if it doesn't, there's always headbands! Just go into your purchase knowing you may not get the wig of your dreams on the first try. All of that said, Kaitlyn is a beautiful style and I'm looking forward to trying her again in the near future.Liz P.
Purchased in chocolate caramel as you see in the photos. I’m a natural dark brunette and it works perfect. I also have a 23 inch head and this still fit me since the cap has a nice stretch. Stays on perfect with a velvet wig grip. Love the natural looking curls, the windblown messy look, and the sort of ***** nature of this wig. The short pixie back is a little different than what I’m used to since I’ve never had a wig that is short in the back and long on top. It takes a little getting used to. Overall I can say it’s comfortable, looks natural, and is super fun. Not sure I would do this as an every day wig but with these curly wigs they are great for a fun night out, a weekend ball game, that kind of thing. I’m 50 years old and I can get away with this style. I will put a review on YouTube under it’s a wonderful wig. Highly recommended.Emily
