This piece seemed very promising but the pieces do not have much security. You will need to add Bobby pins to make it feel somewhat secure. These up/down 4-n-1’s are real convenient. Love the texture of UD11…reminds me of a relaxer or press blowout – it’s real soft with body and fullness, but lightweight with a realistic sheen. This is one of the best moisturizers I have come by, it leaves my hair shiny, defined, and my curls look healthier than ever! It pairs well with gel or even by itself. I can easily refresh my curls with just this product alone. I use it in damp hair and even on dry hair if I'm just refreshing my ends. It was not as thick as many comments made it out to be, I have 3b/c curls and it works on my hair great! It also can be watered down adding water to it as you apply it. Those using this line should be aware most of these products are made for those with thicker curls/coils. So if you have thinner or wavy hair this may not be the product for you. But hands down the best, definitely an essential to have !Jada
This product works really well for my type 4, frizzy, high porosity hair. I have a mix of fine and coarse strands, so I wouldn't recommend this to someone with only super fine hair, as it is, as others have noted, thick and somewhat sticky if you don't move fast enough. I've found ways around this by thinning it out with water and covering the jar with the lid when I'm not actively scooping out product to use (it will become sticky and thicken up when exposed to air for too long). Works well for me when I work in small sections, apply it to one section, and immediately twist that section. If you apply it to your whole head at once and think you're going to go back through and easily twist it all, think again! It will become tacky and tangle your hair if left to sit on it without styling. This hasn't been a problem for me when untwisting my hair though. It's too heavy for me to use on wash days, so I stick to lighter products like Melanin' leave-in and butter. But this is my go-to when I refresh/re-moisturize my hair a week later. I lightly dampen my hair, apply a tiny bit of Melanin leave-in, then a layer of this and follow with a layer of grease/oil. Helps smooth down my frizz without my usual need for gel or mousse. The scent is too strong for me, but I like fragrance-free everything, so I can't really weigh in on this aspect. I've never experienced flaking with this; however, I don't use more than a dime size amount on each chunky twist and I always follow it with grease/oil, so one or both of these could be the reason why.Gina
I have 4b, high porosity hair and this product keeps it super moisturized. I use it about 3 times a week, whenever I style my hair and after I wash it. It is the only product I've tried that really does the job. It's great if you have a simple hair care routine but if you like to style your hair a lot, or define your curls with gel it can be kind of unfortunate. It doesn't mix well with gel AT ALL. My hair would have clumps all the time. It does define my curls a bit but not completely. Again, it's perfect if you use it without gel.Arlene

i like this! definitely better for curlier, thicker hair. i have wavy hair; thin strands but a lot of it. it's quite moisturizing and leaves your hair shiny, but i have to use less to avoid my hair becoming weighed down. i would avoid if you have fine and thin hair as this is definitely not a weightless product. i ended up gifting one of my bottles to my little nieces and nephews who have 3c/4a curls and it works amazing on them! it makes quick work of tangles, reduces frizz, and helps with curl shrinkage. i always keep some for whenever they visit. the smell is quite sweet rather than floral however.kaiju

Didnt work for my type of hair. I have pretty thick mixed hair that will fro out. I was using a sponge to get twist that end up lookin like free form dreads. My hairs prolly like 5in long. I tried this comb for about a 1 hour and I wasnt getting the separation or form I seen in the video. Ima stick with the sponge. Product feels and looks like a tennis racket. My hair has been thinning really bad on the sides and always wear my hair up, making my hair loss very visible. I don’t have money for hair implants and wanted something with immediate results and Toppiks hair building fibers was the perfect solution. It comes in a small bottle that has holes on the top, I just pour the powder into the cap and use a blush brush and brush it on the bald spots and along my hair line and it instantly looks like I have a full head of hair. I wish it came with some sort of brush but I’m sure every women has a brush they can use, I recommend a blush brush. I can’t rave about this product enough. It makes your bald spots instantly disappear and makes your hair super thick if you apply throughout the rest of your hair. This is a must have for anyone who has thinning hair , bald spots or just wants super thick hair. On a side note my brother suffers from the same problem and it worked amazing on him too. This is my first time using this type of product so I really don’t have anything to compare to but there’s no need to try any other. This works great, matches my hair well, looks natural and is lightweight and doesn’t leave my hair stiff. There’s a variety of shades available to help you match your natural hair color. It’s better to match closer to your root if you normally color your hair. It’s applied by shaking it on thinning areas and then patting to disperse and distribute the fibers. It should be used on completely dry hair. I had a virus with high fever for days and about 6 weeks later, I started losing my hair by the handfuls. I lost about 60% of my hair. I had thinning throughout my entire scalp but it was especially noticeable around my temples/hairline at my forehead. I was frustrated and to the point of almost shaving my head because I was embarrassed. I wore hats and turbans to cover my balding spots. A person in my support group recommended Toppik. I can’t say enough good things! I feel more myself, more confident, and am no longer hiding under a hat or turban. It’s easy to apply, lasts through the day, even when sweating. Aging and prescribed medications have caused my hair to thin out, leaving my scalp way too noticeable for my liking. I have tried several different products, but none were as effective or natural looking as Toppik. Application is so simple that I was able to cover the bare spots in less than a minute. The top of the container has super tiny holes, making it simple to sprinkle as little or as much product needed to camouflage the balding areas. At first I was skeptical that it would come out when I brushed my hair, but my concern was unfounded. No matter how many times I brushed my hair, Toppik remained in place.
