I did buy the synthetic hair care package and been applying the products as directed. After purchasing this wig I now know what not to get and what to look for in a wig. It is unbelievably realistic with the look and feel of real hair, whether you wear it straight or curly. I always trim bangs on mine and typically trim off some of the length for a little more layered look. The highlighting is so natural that I've had several people ask me who does my hair! I wear this almost every day and regular washing helps keep it soft and reduces fraying on the ends. I've also found that using a curling iron or flat iron will also help with some of the fraying on the ends. This wig also has a very natural monofilament top which allows the hair to lay very nicely no matter how you part it. I bought this wig because of a great review I saw and wanted to own at least one HT wig unit. I love the wig almost , only one thing I did not like about it was the way it curled toward my face . So I used a flat iron to just flatten that out. OMG big mistake I found out that it does not tolerate heat. I was so shocked because of the amount of money that I paid for it. I have cheap wigs that tolerate heat so I just assumed. Needless to say I won't spend that kind of money again on a wig unless it is heat friendly or at least gives complete info about the unit.jaye
This is a really fabulous style with a really fantastic feel to the fibers. The petite size is fantastic for my small noggin. Where this piece falls short is the lace front and where that lace front joins the rest of the cap. I didn’t pay enough attention to the fact that the color I bought was rooted. The dark knots of the rooted color almost ruin having a lace front. They make it feel so terribly obvious. Additionally, the seam where the lace front joins the rest of the cap is super obvious. If I were to pull the hair back within a half inch of this section, the seam become noticeable from a distance. That all being said, it’s still very wearable as a sleek bob and looks great with a just off center side part.elizabeth T.
Winner! I am wearing petite Cameron in Malibu blonde. I tried several shades of blonde and I also tried both the regular sized Cameron and the petite sized Cameron. I have a 21 inch circumference head. My personal test showed that the regular sized wig looked helmet-y on me, and the ear tabs came down to cover my ear lobes. But, with The petite sized Cameron, I am able to tuck hair behind my ear, because the ear tabs are in the right place, which makes this look way more realistic! Additionally, maybe I wasn’t very good at this but another test I tried was to make a clean and precise side part and match it up with my own part underneath the wig showing thru the lace with my real bio hair, But it seemed to be too obvious and noticeable thru the lace that there was lace on top of my scalp when I did it that way. What I discovered was, that when the part is a little more messy and the bangs are more swept up and over to the side it hid the edges of the lace way better and made it more undetectable. I have already worn Cameron petite in Malibu blonde on a zoom call and everyone loved my hair! I asked my friend (from the zoom call) later if it looked like a wig and she said, no, she thought it looked really realistic, pretty and the roots added to that realness too! I used only a tiny spray of dry shampoo to reduce shine and a tiny spray of synthetic hair hairspray to hold side swept bangs after I lightly teased them. Hope this helps someone else. Well, I finally learned my lesson. I cannot purchase clearance items any longer since every time I have, there has been something either wrong with the wig (manufacturing) or something I didn't like and there are no returns. There wasn't anything wrong with this piece. She just had way too much hair and the fibers were so dry they were like straw. It is a beautiful warm color but the density, the permatease and the dry fibers made this difficult to pull off. I thinned it out and tried to tame the permatease but it just didn't work. Plus, the fibers were like doll hair and so that was a dead giveaway. This was the third JR piece and all have pretty dry fibers. Is this normal? I am a first time buyer, trying to figure out what fits and how to wear the wigs. I ordered 3 wigs in this first order, and two of them I can adjust and work with. But "Gwen" has very short hair and it looks nothing like the pictures! I had it on my head for a few seconds and couldn't stand the very short hair with no shape at all. This is a cute summer wig for someone who doesn't want permatese. It's low density. I got 22F16 there is not enough dimension for me but I do feel someone looking for a well made no permatese, low density piece would be very happy with it. After seeing a review on YouTube on this wig I decided to go for it and omg I love this wig. I trimmed it to fit my personal preference but otherwise she's perfect. Looks like real hair so much that even someone that know I wear wigs though it was my real hair that I just got done. She couldn't believe i was wearing a wig. The Faux scalp it great. The texture is realistic to realistic hair. The colors are so beautifully mixed and natural looking. Doesn't look like a wig does usually with highlights how they are usually symmetrical straightened across. I'm in love with this one. Definitely reccomend!Bri

I absolutely adore this wig, in fact I’m ordering another one because I love it so much. I wouldn’t pay full price for this wig ($75) but at less than $40 it’s definitely worth it. It looks so real! I get compliments every time I wear it. I will say tho, it does tangle pretty bad at the back, but very little shedding and it’s super thick and the texture is perfect.Aj

This wig looks amazing out of the box! The curls are perfect, the color options are great, and it looks very natural. Most people don't even realize I'm wearing a wig unless they know to look for it. For weeks, it will look fantastic (I get more compliments than I did when I had bio hair). However, the hair is extremely long and fine so it does tend to become frizzy quickly. You can maintain the hair with careful washing, storage and a handheld streamer to help uncurl the frizz. Time will take it's toll though. This is a tough wig to wear as an everyday wig unless you want to replace it fairly often or you have a lot of skill with keeping a wig looking it's best.Kayla C.
I took advantage of the 30% sale during the Memorial Day weekend to purchase this absolutely stunning wig! I have worn synthetics for almost a year now and wanted real hear that is full and luscious. Do not hesitate to invest in yourself with the Blake. I got the large. The hair is like a waterfall, silky, and smooth. I got the Pralines and cream because I like blond but not the bleach blond fake color. I am in love with the hair!
Sarah is the perfect wavy wig for about any hair style. Great for a pony tail, messy bun, low bun. Of course when one is styling Sarah, only use a hair elastic for heavy hair and when taking it out, do not pull the elastic through the hair…work the hair out carefully from the elastic. Any pulling on the hair may break the structure and turn frizzy. Once the hair is damaged, there is no going back. As far as the comparison……(1) 100% better than High Octane by Raquel Welch; (2) better than Estetica's new long beach wavy wig; and 200% better than Ellen Wille's Lola. I got Lola and that wig is a hot mess…looks like a bad perm and that surprises me because EW puts out a good quality wig. I actually have 2 Sarah's now..one in Shaded Praline & Cream and the other in Shaded Praline. That's my review.
