Nora is a delightful fluff and go style with waves and almost curls. I got it in color 38, which is light ash brown with grey. It is supposed to be light ash brown with 25 percent grey (it seems a bit more than that;) It would be nice if Paula Young had at least one style featured in this color. The ash brown is very close to my natural color (a bit lighter) but Nora has more grey than I do personally. Nora arrived smelling absolutely wretched; I almost gagged when I opened the box. I had to wash the wig immediately. I used Paula Young shampoo. I thought I detected the (fumigant?) odor even after the wash, but when Nora dried, she no longer smelled. When I first put her on after she'd dried she was not pretty and the curls were mashed against the cap. I shook her vigorously and then took a wide tooth comb and really brought the fibers up off the cap. I wasn't rough, but I was deliberate in going over the entire wig to revive the fibers. I was able to achieve a style very similar to the catalog photo. In my photos, Nora has a more shag-like appearance, but once on she can be fluffed to the rounded silhouette of the catalog photo. Nora fits my 22.25 inch head comfortably and could be adjusted to go even a bit larger, or smaller. I find the fibers dry to the touch and just a bit coarser than my own very fine hair (although Nora's fiber does not look coarse.) Nora is comfortable to wear and an adorable style that goes with dressy as well as casual outfits. If you are prepared to spend a few moments waking Nora up after you first get her home, I think you will be pleasantly surprised at her fluff and go versatility. When this DANCE wig and COLOR ME EXQUISITE wigs arrived, upon removing them from the box they were cute, and the colors were pretty and the best thing they had going for them, However, they didn't look much like the ones the models in the pictures wore. And there is too much perma tease or "fluff" to them. They had really no style to them at all. Especially in the front, just couldn't do much with them. And didn't want to try since being careful with them is a must when trying them on. Very disappointed with these wigs. In my humble opinion they were not great and not keepers. So I am returning them and probably won't buy anymore wigs again. Sorry PY but your wigs need to be lighter weight, lay nicer, (some of us like a bit flatter style) far less perma tease or fluff, easier to wear right out of the box…Thanks anyway…Juanita
I am completely disappointed with my purchase. I ordered two of this wig because I really like the look of the style in the picture. The wigs I received will not comb into the style shown. The top is spiked and will only stand straight up and the bangs stick straight out and will not lay nicely against the forehead. I tried to tame it down with wig spray and hair gel but it won't lay down. The top hair stands straight up and the bangs stick straight out. The wig will not comb into a nice smooth pixie like the picture shows. I would not recommend a person buy this wig unless you want spiked hair that stands straight up at the top of your head and bangs that stick straight out at your forehead. I was ill when the order arrived. So my neighbor got it for me and said the box was ripped. I took pictures when I got it from her. My hair is mostly brown with some gray. The wigs were mostly gray and, even after shaking, looked nothing like what I had ordered. I also ordered a bamboo wig cap and brush and comb set. They were NOT included in the box or, may have fallen out or been taken out, due to the rips!! It also looked like someone had retapped the box, as the tape was a different type. I love the wig. Bought it to replace my real hair that I lost during chemo. Very realistic and lightweight for summer. I can actually put it up in a clip like I could with my real hair. Some reviews stated the hair was too thin but I think they think that because it's layered. Actually, that's why I like it so much. The only reason I gave it a 4 was because I had to wait four weeks to receive it and I was unaware of this until I called PY to find out why it was taking so long. I was not aware when I ordered it. The Long Color Me Beautiful is a pretty style. It is no way as curly as it looks in the picture which was fine with me. It has softer waves. I have worn it several times, but now I find that the style has loosened up and has lost it's shape. I have ordered three wigs at a time and each one has a slightly different styling. I have worn PY wigs since 2003 and they no longer seem to hold up as well. I also wish they had more styles in the petite size. The average is much too large for me. Evidently PY thinks that people with smaller heads or thinner hair should only wear neck-line or short wigs as those are the only styles that come in petite.Bobbie

I bought this unit as a back up peice to the one I love to wear everyday (Fashion Note). I wanted to try this one because it looked very similar to the one I wear daily (Fashion Note) and was a different fiber. I purchased color 24B/613 same as the other wig I have. Again, very pleased with the unit. It is much lighter than FN and it's a bit thinner, which for me is great because I am outside a lot in south Louisiana and it's hot as heck over here. Even though it is a thinner wig, the wefts and tracks do not show thru, so you do not have to work the hair or use hairspray on it. This wig is very shiny (due to the color I get) so a good vinegar/Dawn detergent soak cuts the shine tremendously. I also use dry shampoo spray which helps de-wigify the unit. Pros very light weight, not hot, great for daily use if you want no fuss hair. Cons hair is thin (Fashion Note is a very similar style and has more density)

Been buying Forever Young wigs off and on. They are a great price and good styles. However this time I noticed a huge improvement in the synthetic hair fiber. It was soft and silky and had great movement. I have other brands that are more expensive but this one is very close to being a contender. I was really looking forward to getting this wig but unfortunately something went amiss. I've never had any problems before with any wig I previously purchased from Paula Young but this one fell through the cracks. Upon opening the pink Paula Young box I found the wig was not in a hairnet nor was there a hairnet in the box. Also all the paper tags were already removed from the wig and laying in the box. I wasn't comfortable keeping the wig or trying it on so I returned it with a letter detailing how I received it. I purchased "Celeste" on impulse because she was on clearance. It was a smart buy. Celeste offers top-of-the- shoulder face framing curls with an assymetric cut that sports a slightly longer wave on the right front. This style is every bit as modern as the woman wearing it. And there is too much perma tease or "fluff" to them. They had really no style to them at all. Especially in the front, just couldn't do much with them. And didn't want to try since being careful with them is a must when trying them on. Very disappointed with these wigs. In my humble opinion they were not great and not keepers. So I am returning them and probably won't buy anymore wigs again. Sorry PY but your wigs need to be lighter weight, lay nicer, (some of us like a bit flatter style) far less perma tease or fluff, easier to wear right out of the box…Thanks anyway…Juanita
I am completely disappointed with my purchase. I ordered two of this wig because I really like the look of the style in the picture. The wigs I received will not comb into the style shown. The top is spiked and will only stand straight up and the bangs stick straight out and will not lay nicely against the forehead. I tried to tame it down with wig spray and hair gel but it won't lay down. The top hair stands straight up and the bangs stick straight out. The wig will not comb into a nice smooth pixie like the picture shows. I would not recommend a person buy this wig unless you want spiked hair that stands straight up at the top of your head and bangs that stick straight out at your forehead. The style does not resemble the picture at all !Eve
