I have worn many different varieties and brands of wigs… and at any price Ms.Welch's (synthetic) wigs are an inferior product to many, many other brands that cost far less money First, the "Positives": very nice color assortment from which to choose… though it must be acknowledged that "good color assortments", throughout the various brands-range is not a rarity. There are very nice colors available in all brands The "NotSoPositives": The mono-top, dimension-ally, should be more ample in size. If you wish to create a part on the "far side", either right or left, you'll encounter a problem, having run-out of "mono" construction. 2) Front Lace from "temple to temple" is not acceptable; for a product costing this amount of money at full-Retail, the lace should go from ear-to-ear 3) … and finally: the "hair"/ fiber: AWFUL !!! After wearing for a brand-new unit (only) a week or so, you'll find that the ends begin to frizz… and the frizzing becomes worse and worse as time goes-by. And before you ask: No, I do not… and have never used heated styling tools on synthetic units. The frizzing looks like the results of an extremely bad perm.', and the scatch-iness against the skin is soooooo uncomfortable on those longer styles. … and finally: the lace front separated from the front of the wig! I had to glue it back together! For me, Ms.Welch's wigs are cheaply made products with a big price-tag, and a rating of "OneStar" is one star too many!Tina M.
I wear wigs full time and I own over 20. Every quality of synthetic from $20 Ebay wigs to $400 bought on this site. Love this site. The fit, color and style of this wig are awesome as are Raq wigs, but not the hair quality. The wig frays easily. I know how to care and treat a heat friendly synthetic wig, hence my history above, but within 1 week of daily wear the hair from the nape down became dry, course and needed a deep conditioning. I only use the wide tooth wig comb sold here on my wigs so this shouldn't have happened. My first real disappointment so I'm glad I got it on sale. I bought Zara as a replacement bcs they are very similar. I hope she holds up better than Scene Stealer.Gigi

I have purchased several wigs from Especially Yours and I have come to trust that the wigs I purchase are ALWAYS exactly as pictured and described, without exception. I usually wear my hair very short and blond during warmer weather because it's just easier and I can always wear a straw-hat and I love wearing hats!! I go to my wigs during cooler weather to give my hair a rest (growing out the blonde) until summer rolls around again. I ordered two of these wigs. I had ordered two of them last year from a different company so I knew what they should look like. The wigs I received were extremely cheap and not what was pictured online. I returned both of them and called to have the original shipping fee refunded because they did not send what I ordered. The customer service representative told me several times that it's against their policy to refund shipping fees. Eventually, I requested to speak with a supervisor who said the same thing. I told both of them I compare it to ordering an apple from their website but they send me an orange. When I return the orange because it is not what I ordered, they keep the money I paid to have the apple shipped to me. Ultimately I was told they would refund it as a courtesy. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN!! Sending people items that are different from what they ordered seems to be a scam and not refunding the shipping IS A BUSINESS WITHIN ITSELF!! A SCAM!! I was ill when the order arrived. So my neighbor got it for me and said the box was ripped. I took pictures when I got it from her. My hair is mostly brown with some gray. The wigs were mostly gray and, even after shaking, looked nothing like what I had ordered. I also ordered a bamboo wig cap and brush and comb set. They were NOT included in the box or, may have fallen out or been taken out, due to the rips!! It also looked like someone had retapped the box, as the tape was a different type. I love the wig. Bought it to replace my real hair that I lost during chemo. Very realistic and lightweight for summer. I can actually put it up in a clip like I could with my real hair. Some reviews stated the hair was too thin but I think they think that because it's layered. Actually, that's why I like it so much. The only reason I gave it a 4 was because I had to wait four weeks to receive it and I was unaware of this until I called PY to find out why it was taking so long. I was not aware when I ordered it. However, I'm a happy camper now!Angela
The Long Color Me Beautiful is a pretty style. It is no way as curly as it looks in the picture which was fine with me. It has softer waves. I have worn it several times, but now I find that the style has loosened up and has lost it's shape. I have ordered three wigs at a time and each one has a slightly different styling. I have worn PY wigs since 2003 and they no longer seem to hold up as well. I also wish they had more styles in the petite size. The average is much too large for me. Evidently PY thinks that people with smaller heads or thinner hair should only wear neck-line or short wigs as those are the only styles that come in petite.Bobbie
